Local Datatable Query

I have a SQL query returning a datatable which returns data such as:
ID, Email adress, logon name,
1,joe@bloggs.com,jb1
2,joe@bloggs.com,jb2
3,joe@bloggs.com,jb3
4,bloggs@joe.com,bj1
5,bloggs@joe.com,bj2
6,bloggs@joe.com,bj3
I need to send an email to ALL the above unique email addresses in column 2, listing all the logons for that person. My question is, in terms of best practice, Whats the best way to do? Should i either
1) Query the local datatable in the application, if so how do i query a local DataTable object?
2) Modify my initial query to return all the unique email addresses and then again query to retrieve the logons for that email address inside a for loop for eaxmple.
Was trying to minimise the hits to the database, whats the preferred way to do something like this?

I'm a little confused here. In the code-behind of an ASP.NET page, I have a private DataTable that I set on the PageLoad event, which I use to populate controls on the page. However, it seems to get lost (set to Nothing) after the load event.Is this normal?
How do I hold onto a DataTable object after the page loads? This is also very confusing as to how I am supposed to submit updates to the SQLServer db when any changes are mande to that datatable. I mean:
1. PageLoad, set DataTable, set controls values to corresponding columns in Datatable.
2. User changes a textbox value, then start a .BeginEdit(), DataRow("Field) = txtboxvalue.
3. Update button clicked should submit DataTable to Webservice that references a DAL that accepts the DataTable for db update.

I am trying to use like to query my datatable. The datatable has confirmed records and the column name is confirmed to be correct. The problem is, if I pass in the case sensitive word "FRANK THOMAS", the query returnes results. The problem is, I do not want to have to deal with the user typing in "frank thomas" and having it fail.Here is the code.

My web application calls a stored procedure and stores the result in a .NET datatable. I'd like to use this datatable and join it with other tables in my database. Is this possible?
Would the best way to set this up be to create another datatable and then use a dataview to join both datatables?

I am trying to display a local .html file in a web page. The file uses javascript to display some information about my phone. In the executable, I am retrieving two values out of the registry. I would like to pass these values in a query string (I think that is the correct terminology). Something like file://\Program Files\TestTest.html?type=newtype. I have attempted this with using webbrowser.navigate, but that is giving an unhandled exception when it tries to pass the URI string. Obviously, I have no experience with this and am using the wrong method. There has to be a simple way to open a new webpage in a form and pass it this type of string.
how to implement such a function? I have been attempting to implement this with Visual C# using the .net CF for Windows Mobile.

I am trying to run a linq query but I need the result as a datatable as I am using that to store records from different queries in the same viewstate object.The 2 versions below compile, but return an empty set. The exact error is "Value cannot be null.Parameter name: source". (and yes I have checked there is data):

I have to filter the records from the data table based on the date.
I am having a column in data table called "cStartDate".
I will enter the begin and end date. I have to find out whethere the "cStartDate" is within the begin and end date i entered.
I am going to implement the filter logic in data table with out affecting the data base.

I'm writing a web service that needs to query an Access 2003 database (.mdb). I've found the following code in doing some research on OLEDB connections and queries:

Errors are as follows:
Error 3 A field initializer cannot reference the non-static field, method, or property 'CompleteRentalls.completedb.sqlString'
Error 5 'CompleteRentalls.completedb.da' is a 'field' but is used like a 'type'
Can anyone help me rectify the above code such that the query results are returned to my datatable?

When I run the application using the Web Developer it works fine. However when I run it using local IIS I get the following error:

I created a website using VS2010. When I run the website using built-in web server, everything works fine. The website recognizes javascript and aurigma uploader. When I publish the website to local folder and tried to access using IIS 5.1 on local pc,

There is a hyperlink to a local file...for instance....C:/text.txt. This is not possible, because ASP.net does not allow links to local files. But, links to files on network drives such as W:/test.txt are working ok. how does the browser know which drive letter is local,and which is networked? How does it know that C: is local or D: is local etc, and that W: is a network drive?
