I have an Mobile web application. In my application i have Link Button control and Drop Down list control. These controls are not working in BlackBerry devices. Does any come across this problem? Can you give me better solution for this?Iam thinking to implement javascript for DropDownList control?

we have deveoped a mobile application . and have some link buttons ,thease linkbuttons are working fine with blackberry curve but not working when we use Blackberry bold (9650, 9700)
View 1 RepliesI tried to use the asp.net fileupload control for uploading a picture or music file, from blackberry device to server. But, What happened is ; the file is uploaded , ie, the file is created with 0 bytes in it. That is, file is actually not uploaded. Since blackberry browser doesn't support other fileformats, the device contains only .png & .m4a fileformats in its samples. I have used these sample in blackberry for uploading. The same has occured in the case of .m4a files also... Why is it so...? One more thing... The blackberry browser which I am refering here is the blackberry browser simulator, bold 9700.
View 7 RepliesI'm working on a web page that will be viewed on a blackberry (to start with). On the page I need to be able to add calendar events to the user's blackberry calendar or add new contact records to their contact list.
I've found the api on RIM's site that would allow this [URL] but I have no how to incorporate it into an asp.net page.
I assume I need to write inline javascript but I don't know how to import/include the API libraries that are required. Does anyone know how to do this or, better yet, have some sample code? If this is even possible, I think I just need to get past this hurdle and I'll be on my way (until I trip over the next one ).

View 2 RepliesSo I created a site optimized to be rendered in a mobile device. I set the Width Site is looking good on Blackberry of my <DIV> tags to be about 300px, for the most part, to account for the reduced screen size. However, the IPhone Safari browser renders this to the screen extremely small, and I can only assume that it's automatically reducing the size of the html accordingly to fit the device. Again, Blackberry does not do this.
View 5 RepliesI have website home page which my client can view well on his blackberry mobile phone but I have link buttons on that page which redirect the users to other pages ..just Response.Redirect ............simple code.... but when he clicks on the link, it requests for enabling javascript..I do that but the home page just does a postback. Links are not working on cellphone........... on regular website they are working fine.

1. I need to load a user control on link click event of a link button during postback of aspx page.
2. On button click event of a save button on that aspx page, I need to read the selected values from that user control on further postback.
If I write the loadcontrol code in link_click event, the control is not recognized at all in the button_click event. When I shift it to page_init and execute only during not postback, the user control loads with default values.
I am writing a ASP program which I am going to run on an IPAD. Created a numeric keypad using buttons. Click a button and it adds the value to a textbox. textbox.text = textbox.text + "1"
Having some delay after each button press. I think this is due to postback happening with each keypress.
Is there a way that I can click a button...have it add the value to textbox.text and not do a postback? In other words do everything on the client side. It is my understanding you can run a Java script on client side but I don't know much about java at this point.
I need to change a standard HTML Input button to a Link button but am running into problems because the existing
code calls a javascript function. The function basically does the same as the browser back button. When I add the code and

The following code is being used to disable a Submit button once it has been clicked. This works great on desktop browsers and most BlackBerry mobile browsers.

when using a BlackBerry Storm clicking the submit button causes the device to just reload the page. If I remove this code the Storm browser submits the page just fine. I need to disable the button when the browser is capable of doing so but do not want to affect browsers that are not JavaScript capable.
I have a User Control with a multiple number of link buttons.
What I want to achieve is to change the Background colour of one of the link button control in the page load event of one of the pages. I am finding it difficult to access the link button in user control .

I have a user control, which is added to another user control. The nested user control is built up of a GridView, an image button and a link button. The nested user control is added to the outer control as a collection object based upon the results bound to the GridView.
The problem that I have is that my link button doesn't work. I click on it and the event doesn't fire. Even adding a break point was not reached. As the nested user control is added a number of times, I have set image button to have unique ids and also the link button. Whilst image button works correctly with its JavaScript. The link button needs to fire an event in the code behind, but despite all my efforts, I can't make it work. I am adding the link button to the control dynamically. Below is the relevant code that I am using:
