I have a button and a div. I want when i click on button my data inserted to db as well as show the div as lightbox effect.
View 1 RepliesDon't know if this is possible, but i have a site with categories, when you click a category i want it to redirect to the same page, but with a querystring parameter of the category id. The page will then load a lightbox to open the images with the correct category id. That is my basic thought. if any1 has a better ide, i'll gladly listen. Dont worry about the linq2sql parts, that i am sure how to do.

The claim id is then passed via url querystring to a claim management page. The claim management page uses a listview to display the various claims and allow users to edit them. I want to use the claim id passed in the url to locate the listview row to open in edit mode, so the user can make changes / alterations to the claim.
View 4 RepliesI am developing a project which has a master page and content page.In my content page I was using a gridview query from database with image display as an image button, when user click on the image in the gridview it will trigged a lightbox through Javascript. I follow the tutorial from the link in the following link [URL]
Everything works great when its on a stand alone page , however, as soon as I put the GridView in my content page then click on the image from the image button in the GridView I will be resulting the following error. Server Error in '/Photo_Master' Application. Invalid postback or callback argument. Event validation is enabled using <pages enableEventValidation="true"/> in configuration or <%@ Page nableEventValidation="true" %> in a page. For security purposes, this feature verifies that arguments to postback or callback events originate from the server control that originally rendered them. If the data is valid and expected, use the ClientScriptManager.RegisterForEventValidation method in order to register the postback or callback data for validation.
Here is my code, I noticed OnClientClick = "return LoadDiv(this.src);" in the following image button will return false to prevent postback, however, it will only work if this is a stand alone page but not in the content page that links to a master page. I had tried the following approaches, but none of them works.
1.) EnableEventValidation = "false" --- Page is not going to break at least but No Lightbox pop up.
2.) Added PostBackURL ="javascript:Void(0);" as the properties of <asp:imagebutton> in the GridView - Did not work.
*PS - I had tried to put my lightbox pop up page on either master or content page tried different ways , however, nothing works. My goal is to have the PhotoGallery display in GridView where image display as an ASP.net imagebutton control under the content page, when user click on the imagebutton the lightbox effect will show.

This always open the results.aspx in iframe. I want that results.aspx should always open in the parent window. I tried the following till now but none worked:

Otherwise coming to my question, where I'm struck after trying above thing at myself and failed then had to go around the Ajax way of doing this. Now I'm using Ajax call over the onclick event of each hyperlink from top navigation and it's succesfully loading external .aspx pages (for example,[URL]. The problem is when user comes on the application on first time, it only shows the .aspx page which has a navigation and a Ajax content place holder which is programmed to be filled with contents on click event.

The third party gateway does not support query-string , so i will need to post the form to pass the values to the given URL and another thing is that they don't expose the web-services so we need to use their page and that means we need to host it in an iframe in asp.net
so what i did is that i have hidden fields that will be used as parameters as depicted below

Now the purpose of this , is to load the iframe after the page load event of the asp.net gets fired.
Now my problem here is that when the iframe loads , it does not pass the parameters to the url that is being set in the iframe.
I have attached the example, project. (2kb)
When you run the project you will notice when the iframe loads there is an Error
"NO VCS ID"
now this means that the parameters were not passed when the Iframe loads , i can understand because it seems like iframe does not do a full form post. so to demonstrate what i want, click the proceed button and you will notice it will give you a page with no errors and it will be a page where credit card details are required , i want to iframe to load that the first time.
In Visual Studio Team Edition there is a load test tool where you can select unit tests, integration tests etc... to form scenarios which are then used in a load test session with different configurations for example varying usage levels.
Looking at for example the NUnit framework, it would be possible to develop a form of such a tool, along with a base load testing code base, but I was interested if anyone knows of any open source project which has has already done a similar thing which could then be of use for this situation and possibly extended?

but I would not open the page immediately, but when given a click anywhere on the page, an example of what I do is [URL] need to click anywhere on the page to open a separate new page (pop up)
and if you still go back to the site and give again a click anywhere on the page no longer loads the new page, I don't know if I'm being clear.

I have 6 thumbnail images as asp:imagebutton instances. These are treated as triggers for asp:updatepanel control on the page which contains an asp:image control. When the user clicks on the thumbnail, the image in the asp:updatepanel's image control changes to the clicked thumbnail image. The users are also allowed to again enlarge the image by clicking on the enlarge button (this runs the lightbox function). This works fine.
Question
The problem is that the enlargement works when the page loads, however when the user select a thumbnail and then tries. The method (lightbox) does not work.I have had similar problems with javascript functions and the asp:updatepanel. Has anyone else faced similar issues?
I've implemented reCAPTCHA following the instructions on this site:[URL]However I am unable to get it to render on my lightbox. It renders as below when i check with firebug.
