SQL Reporting :: Display Fields In Page Footer?
Sep 28, 2010I am creating an Invoice. Where company address must come at the bottom of the page. But I cannot use any fields in header and footer. How can I serve this requirement?

Feb 11, 2010I have a Table in a reportviewer.
On the Vertical(row) axis i would like to display data from "Fields!REGCODE.Value".
I only want to display 3 rows at all times, namely the value for REGCODE "013", "015" and "Other" (all other values than "013" and "015") which is translated to "KK", "KA" and "Other".
I have made a Group that does the following:
=Fields!REGCODE.Value = 013
=Fields!REGCODE.Value = 015
=Fields!REGCODE.Value <> 013 and Fields!REGCODE.Value <> 015
I have also made the following Expression:
"=IIF(Fields!REGCODE.Value = 013, "KK", IIF(Fields!REGCODE.Value = 015, "KA", "Other"))" which works perfectly except when there for example is no content in "013", the row is removed. I want the three rows (KK, KA and Other) at all times, how do I do that?
On the Horizontal(column) Axis, I want to display town names. The Town names correspond to a number in "Fields!COLLECT_PLACE.Value" but I manually type in the town names to make sure that the columns is always shown and shown in the right order.
For each filed in the table i would like to make a count of the number of found values that has the corresponding REGCODE and COLLECT_PLACE.

In my .aspx page, I have a report header, an empty panel as a place holder, a report footer.In my .aspx.vb file, I'll loop through a list of departments. Within each department, I'll load a label to display the department name and the user control for the data, and add both the label and user control to the panel. So there are two variables:
the number of departments and the number of records in a user control.
Now I need to display the current page number and the total page number in the report footer. Is it doable? How? I'm thinking of this approach: declare a page variable count, count the number of department name labels and the number of records in a user control. When the total count reaches a number, such as 20, I'll break the page. This way, I can get the the page current number and the total number of pages. But how to add a page break to an asp.net page?

I need to have different footers inside the whole print out.
e.g. After first several pages I need to use page number as page footer( this can be easily done). but after that i need have footers as Annex A -1, Annex A-2, or Annex B -1 , Annex C - 1, when the page is Annex A, Annex B...etc.

Jul 14, 2010I am using SSRS in my web aaplication to display reports, but i face few problem like:
1. I have place two textbox in report footer & i want to sum their value and display on third textbox. but error occured, error is :
"Error 1 [rsMultiReportItemsInPageSectionExpression] The Value expression for the textbox 'textbox21' refers to more than one report item. An expression in a page header or footer can refer to only one report item."
textbox21 is third textbox. Expression for Third Textbox is "=ReportItems!textbox17.Value + ReportItems!textbox18.Value"
2. In export option i want to set excel option by default, user just click on export link.
3. Footer section not available in excel or pdf file, when i export report to excel or pdf format.
For your information, I have created my application in Visual Studio 2005

Reporting Services is on my account.service web service URLThe report manager URL is http://ssrs.domain.com/reportsmanager My reports and connection live in a folder called "Matthew McNally".ASPHostCentral setup a user and password, and I can visit both of those sites, enter the username and password, and view the sites. I can upload a test report, and view it in both sites.I cannot get a web page with a reportviewer control on it to display the report - due to the 401 error message.

SQL Reporting :: Remove Unwanted White Space From Hidden Header / Footer?
May 15, 2010I am currently working on an invoice report which may or may not span across multiple pages. I have a header which I have setup to only be displayed on the first page, and a footer which I have setup to only be displayed on the last page. The problem is, the hidden header/footer reserves unwanted whitespace and messes up the report layout (see the screenshot). The black areas represent space that is reserved by the header/footer. There must be a simple way to remove this unwanted space.

Aug 10, 2010I am having trouble with .rdlc field sizing. Regardless of the table/field size settings in my .rdlc report, the reportviewer always shrinks the fields and table. I have tested everything I can think of, and searched the web for a solution to this problem, but no luck yet.
I have also tried just about every size setting there is and even looked in the output html, but nothing seems to be decreasing the width. I have attached two images. in the first image, I have added a black border around my table, and a red border around one of the fields to demonstrate the auto-shrink issue. the second image shows my vs report settings.

Eg,I need to display the net Total amount at the footer.

Displaying Various Reports (using Telerik Reporting) Based On User Inputs For Various Fields
Jan 31, 2011In my application, there is only a login page and a report page. When the user enters his login credentials he will be redirected from the login page to the reports page. I am using forms authentication for this purpose.
On the reports page I will be displaying various reports (using Telerik reporting) based on user inputs for various fields.
Now here is the funnier part; My application works correctly in all browsers (including Safari on windows platform). But when I open it in an Ipad I am getting the below error,
"Potentially dangerous request.form value was detected from the client " This error occurs when the forms authentication redirection happens from the login page to the reports page.
I tried a variety of solutions like setting ValidateRequest="false" & requestValidationMode="2.0" , but none of them helped. I also tried removing the forms authentication and that also didn't

Forms Data Controls :: Display Gridview Totals In Footer?
Sep 8, 2010 I am having problems with displaying the totals in the footer of a gridview. I am writing a page whereby users can enter comments and marks for an online photo competition.
The page has a details view to enter the comment and mark. Its has a details view where the photo is displayed. It has a gridview where the comments and marks that have been entered are displayed.
It works well - the details view allows comment and mark entry and the gridview show the comments and marks as they are entered. The problems are twofold. Firstly the total shows double the marks that should be displayed. Secondly, when you leave the page and then return later, you have to refresh the page before it will show the latest comment and mark even though it shows this immediately after entering the data.
