SQL Reporting :: Need To Have Left Column Repeat On All Pages?

I need to have the most left column repeat on all pages of my pdf report. My report is dynamic and is coded by xsl and is displayed through the reportviewer. I have tried KeepTogether and RepeatonNewPage and nothing happens.
I have the following a Master Table that has some Id and a child table with multiple records for that Id, i created a Main rdlc report in asp.net and a sub report, i am having trouble on displaying the sub report as multiple times (i.e. for reach record in the child table for a particular Main Id there should be a sub report with the information related to the child tabke), i was able to display it repeated but it repeated the first record of the child table.
2) At the bottom of the screen, select a dropdown arrow beside column groups.
3) Enable "Advanced Mode" by clicking on it.
3) Then under Row Groups,select the static row and choose properties or press F4.
4) Set the following attributes for the static row or header row.
RepeatOnNewPage : True KeepWithGroup : After
When we export the table report in SSRS 2008 as a word document, the table headers won't repeat when the table spans to multiple pages. The reason is the table report is exported as an inner table. So, Microsoft Word doesn't support header repetition for an inner table.
I want to ask you about tab containers. Is there any way to set tab pages vertically on left side of tab container. some kind of vertical tab...Example
What I have is a set of Database records in a DataSource. I can set up a GridView (currently used) to display the data from that set, but I need a bit more complex thing. Say that I have columns Category, ID, Product, Price. What I need is to display Category name, then all the products for that Category, then next Category name, matching products, etc.
I'm creating dynamic table which having more than 20 rows and number of columns can be change according to user input. first column is header and other columns need to bind using data returning from web services. And there are few rows which can editable. when user click on submit button need to validate the changed cells and process the data.I have created ASP.net table and added rows and cells one by one. but this is not reusable way of doing, is there any alternative to create editable dynamic table with left column as header?
We have a requirement to add an image column to the very left of the jqGrid. We have multiselect set to true, so there are checkboxes on the left. Now, we want to add some dotted lines(inside an image column) on the left of these checkboxes, as we're trying to make to look a little similar to gmail where some small dotted lines are available beside the checkboxes to enable email dragging.
I have a table in sql having a numeric data type column,Now i want that whenever user left this field blank from front end aspx page, null value should be inserted in this column from stored proc.How can i achieve this? Also what kind of data type is most appropriate on front end for such taking kind of value?
I have made a report its working after deployment, but the problem is that the report is not displaying in multiple pages, i have 30,000 records which is displaying in single page, due to that report is get hanged up. I have tried all the options at report layout parts but no hope.
Is it good practice to add asp.net pages into the Report Manager web app?I would like to add some pages that allow users to manage what is in their multi-select dropdownlists on reports. Unfortunately, i can't host another web app, so i was wondering if i should just embedd pages within the report manager?
I am developing a report with almost 25 columns table and the width of the report is 20pt. But I am changing the visibility of a few columns in run-time so that the resultant width will fit in one page (11pt)(I checked all the margins and resultant width of table. Sum of all the widths are with in the pagesize only).
Everything is working fine when i check the report in browser, but when i try to Export to PDF there are alternate white pages, which are corresponding to the hidden columns width i guess.
How to achieve PDF Export without white pages? Also, is there any way to shrink the report to a single page?
I have a problem while printing rdlc report (local). The number of pages of the report in viewer is fewer than that in the print. This leads to a problem while printing the report from - to a particular page. For eg: The report viewer shows 9 pages while viewing but when I go for print it prints 14 pages. The data is not lost but records from page 1 are transfered to page 2 while printing.
Is it possible to put a column of checkboxes in the ReportViewer so that a user can select multiple records and then click a button to have those records processed as a group?
I have a matrix report with a series of drugs across the top horizontally. I have series of diseases vertically down the report. In the detail, I have a percentage that is calculated. This all works. But I want to add a column that displays vertically down the page just to the right of the diseases and to the left of the first detail. This column will contain a count of all diseases. Not sure how this will appear on this forum but I will try to illustrate below:
Presently, my report does not have the Total column. This is what I want to add to my matrix report. And this Total column has nothing to do with the other numbers in the detail. The Total column is the count of each disease. I have no idea how to do this on a matirx report.
is there a way to make the first column of a report use the an alternating background color?
I have the background color set for the entire row however it does not work for the first column if the color is set to an expression. If I just set it to a color i.e. red it works just fine. If I insert a dummy column to the left it works just fine (but the dummy column does not work, presumably because it is first??).
In the file below only the textbox for part number does not show an alternating background. All others work correctly.
This all works just fine. However now, I want to take a date that's given, and make a "Past Due" column for anything less than the first of the month of that date.
