I am able to get the records which are duplicated but not able to delete further.
In this case how to delete?
My consideration is that only distinct orderid's should be there in the table. Not bothering about the which orderid row is being deleted.

Feb 1, 2010How do you avoid duplicate bound items in this scenario: There's a databound control on a page (a DropDownList in this case, though I don't think it matters). It has AppendDataBoundItems set to "true". Somewhere in the code, a DataSource is set and DataBind is called. So this control is bound explicitly. You have a bunch of other things to bind on the page, so you call Page.DataBind.
Your databound control now has duplicate items in it. It was (1) bound explicitly, then (2) Page.DataBind bound it again. Since AppendDataBoundItems was true, the second bind appends to the first, and you end up with double the items. A couple limitations: The explicit call to DataBind on the control is done through some centralized code, and would be painful to change. i really need to bind the rest of the page in aggregate (via Page.Databind()) because there's too many other databound elements to do it individually without writing a ton of individual calls.

The site is hosted in GoDaddy and I need to do it via IIS7 URL Rewrite Module.
I've been able to do the HTTPS redirect with the following code:

I guess the condition is not being satisfied when I enter www.mysite.com in the browser, so there's no redirect and the page serves as HTTP instead of HTTPS.
I think I just need to modify the condition pattern, but I have almost nothing regex knowledge and I need this asap.

The dropdownlist has several DataTextField in string and consist of DataValueField in numeric. The gridview passes a string text to the box which has an equal or same item inside the dropdownlist. Whenever i passed a record from a gridview to be viewed in the dropdownlist it just duplicates the same item. Q: How can i simply pass a text inside the dropdown and just simply display it without adding on the list.

I would like to format the background each data-row that contains a duplicate serial-number value.
I'm planning to do this using a DataBound event handler.
So, in English:
Set background colour of THIS_ROW to red where the Serial_Number of THIS_ROW is the same as the Serial_Number of ANY_OTHER_ROW.
All rows with duplicate serial-numbers would be red.
I'm not sure how to write the code for this event.
The gridview is bound to a SQL datasource. Getting the dupes in SQL is easy:

Feb 6, 2011I want to generate 30,000 cards and each card must be duplicate check with database. In my card, there are 2 things. Serial No and CardID. If any card already exists then I generate another card id but with the same serial no.
So how faster way I can generate 30,000 card with duplicate check? Which one I have made application, it takes about 25 minutes to insert.
