I know browser compatability isn't fun, but this one is odd. I have the following code:

When the user clicks on a link in any version of IE, Chrome, or Safari, the scrollbar on the right side is there, no problem. But when they do it in Firefox, the scrollbar is missing. They can hit page down to scroll through the info, but why wouldn't the scrollbar be there as well?
I have a panel that is displayed in ajax popup. The panel has a div inside it. Overflow property for div is set to 'scroll'.
My problem is that when the page is displayed in firefox, scrollbar do not work. Scrollbars are displayed properly but nothing happens when I click on the scroll button or even on scroll bar.
Note: Page works great in IE. Also note that I was able to scroll using the scroll button of mouse in firefox.

I am having a problem with a modal popup that has a vertical scroll bar. In IE the vertical scroll bar works as it should. However in Firefox, if I try to click and drag the scroll box or "thumb" along the track the whole modal popup is draged accross the screen. The scroll buttons will advance the scroll, I just can't grab the tumb without dragging the whole screen.
The popup text is in a div with the following properties:
<div style="height: 465px; width: 742px; overflow-y: scroll; overflow-x: hidden; float: left;">
I came accross something very strange when i was testing my pages in FireFox.
The Adsense blocks are commented out (green) in firefox.
It does render however properly when i paste all the rendered code in a blank aspx page in the same project without using masterpage.

I am having an issue with images not showing in Chrome or FireFox. In chrome i get this message in the Console "Not allowed to load local resource.". The images appear fine and correct in IE11 & MS Edge. I'm assuming this is some king of security problem I need to address, but am not at all sure what.

I am using Logi Reports for creating reports in my application. I am passing cookies from web application to these logi reports. Cookies were workign correctly before, but after the release of this version. Cookies are not working in these logi reports.
View 1 RepliesI'm trying to server an exe to Firefox from an aspx page. The aspx page handles the headers and the page is launched by our Flex GUI. Flex correctly launches the link for all browsers (including Firefox) so I'm certain that's not the issue.
The problem I'm having is when I try to download the file from within Firefox, FF downloads the file fine but it names it "Content". It has no extension and the file name is incorrect. All the other browsers download it with the file name I specified in the aspx page and they all have the .exe extension. I should note that if I rename the "Content" file to "Content.exe" it runs correctly.Below is the code I'm using in my aspx page -

View 6 RepliesI have a simple question. I need to keep my position af postback in a scrollbar, where a panel consists of 20 equal user controls. I have attached the code below for the simple form and for the user control.
I have added MaintainScrollPositionOnPostback="true" in the webform, but still the position moves back to the top position of the panel after postback.
With this code, it displayes the horizontal scroll bar but not the vertical at first, BUT if you minimize your screen, the vertical kicks in, i would like to have them both be there at all times, how can I code this?

I have a web page that regularly refreshes on post back, and all of this works fine. However, a user has made enhance the page, which I need with:
1) There are 3 asp.panels on the page, which are scrollable vertically. When the page refreshes, the scroll position returns to the top. The enhancement is to maintain the position of where ever the scrollbar is on postback. How do I keep the scrollbar position on post back?
2) Within each of the panels are dynamically added web controls. These web controls contain gridviews, which are themselves contained inside div tags. These div tags can be hiddened and made visible by an image button. This hidden and visible state is actioned by some javascript on the page. Again, the user has asked how it is possible to maintain the state of these div tags on post back, i.e. those that are closed and those that are visible. Currently, the state is on postback for all the div tags to be visible. How do I maintain the state of the visibility of a div tag during postback?
I have a listview with multiple records inside a div whose overflow property has been set to enable scrollbars. Now I have another search panel in which If i click on a particular item the corresponding item in the listview gets selected. But the problem is that the item gets selected but the user cannot view it if its way down on the list.I also want the scrollbar to move in order to let the user show the selected item.

View 1 RepliesI have an Usercontrol which has a update panel that being postback by a timer, and it is nested in a parent page which has its own update panel. Every time that the update panel in UserControl cause a postback to server my main page's scrollbar being reset to top or buttom of the page. I enabled viewstate of parent page but nothing, and when enable parent page's MaintainScrollPOsitionOnPOstback it cause a problem for Usercontrol updatepanel postback !
