State Management :: Querystring Is Not Working On Reloading A Page?

I've a Linkbutton control in the master page. And in the content page(Home.aspx) i'm trying to navigate it an aspx page(Apply.aspx) passing a value using querystring. Everything is working fine when i click the apply linkbutton control for the first time i.e i'm able to get the value the querystring and able to use it.
But when i click on the same linkbutton second time, i'm not getting the querystring value?how to persist the querystring value on reloading?

trying to pass a guid value to querystring - it should take the guid value from one page to another. i get an error: value cannot be null, parameter name: g. so my guid value is not being pass to my second page. below is code:

My app has broken after upgrading to ASP.NET 2.0. The problem is that Request.QueryString is empty when the SelectedIndexChanged event of a IE Web Controls tab strip is fired. It worked perfectly in ASP.NET 1. I have the tab strip contained within my own UserControl.

I have a aspx page and there is a web user control that must load dynamically with the data related to the aspx page....
ok so I want to use a querystring and pass it to the web user control.....how do I do this?
then also how do I pass a querystring from a web user control back to a aspx page?
This is a question I always had...and therefore never actually started to use the web user control

I'm working in a web application that uses InProc sesssion to store data then we decided to decided to work with out of process session state. But now I tried to Implement that but it is not working
Note: I use visual studio web development server.
Here is what I did in the web.config fil:
<sessionState mode="StateServer" cookieName="ASP.NET_SessionId" stateConnectionString="tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424"
cookieless="UseCookies" timeout="10"/>
And to enable session state in all pages:
<pages theme="Blue" enableSessionState="true">
Then I started the aspnet_state service on my pc.
And I made a test to see if the session is working but unfortunately it is not working

I have 2 cols. StartTime and EndTime. If user's total time is greater then 30 mins then I am locking user. Here, I used Session and I want keep my session for 30 mins. I did almost everything (I think ?) . Change the setting from IIS, Wrote <sessionState timeout="30"> but it is not working... Till 28 - 29 mins it saves the time, but not above..... After that I changed the session's timeout for 9 hours ex: <sessionstate timeout="5400">..... But still not working.... I don't understant what to do?

I have created a matser page with a two radio buttons, text box and a button. Whenever user sets some values to these control and clicks the button, i will navigating him from one content page to another based on the data he has entered. The problem is after the content page load, the values selected/given in the controls(radio button, text box) are getting cleared.
Is there some way to maintain the values ?

i have a form on page1.aspx with several controls (textbox, dropdownlist, etc).on Page1 PageLoad event i load data from database and performe databinding.From Page1 a user can, by clicking a specific button, move to Page2.aspx to insert some details and, after saving details, he returns to page1.
if save changes are made on control on page1 before save them to db, obviously, these are lost on return from page2 (because are reloaded on pageload from db).How can i save control status between pages round trip?

I am developing a new website and I have a very strange problem. Depending on a simple query string parameter value I have "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" or a correct page. Let me show a couple of examples:
This url works, and displays the value passed in the "data" parameter:

But this url does not work and I don't really know why:

My Asp.Net app caches some lookup DataTables to avoid hitting DB for seldomly changed data. When the data does change, however, I would like to use the sqlCacheDependency to get SQL Server to send a notification to my application, which should then reload the table into the cache.
In my application, the callback is not being executed, and the cache is not updated when data is changed in SQL Server.

I'm using BlogEngine and i'm changing it a little bit. I tried to show the online visitors number. I added some code in global.asax. My approach is like:
I defined the count of visitors in App start like Application["OnlineVisitors"] = 0
then i increased the count with 1 in the session start and decreased it in session end but it's not working. I downloaded the website to debug in my computer but i never comes to the breakpoint in the session start function. Also sessionstate mode is inprog cookieless= false and timeout = 20

I am having a ASP.net application it having three pages ,page 1,page 2,page 3,when the user navigating between this pages I want to maintain the view state in page level after postbacks(i.e.) .If a user visits page 3, passing some query loads some data .then he moves to page 1 doing some entries .after that he once again moves to page 3 now I want to display the data previously available at the time he moves to page 1, same

I have copied this shopping cart from the net and incorporated it into my SearchResult.aspx. I understand the code and it seems simple enough but for some reason I am getting an error when trying to run it. Can someone tell me what is wrong below? I have a ViewState persistence module that works perfectly on my local machine, but when I move it to our Dev environment, it does not. There are no errors, but the ViewState gets rendered in the page output as if the module did not exist at all.I have checked everything I can think of including the correct code on the server, the SQL connection string where the ViewState is being stored (yes, the code & server has access to the database as we are using the exact same database to store Session state (just different tables) and I can see entries being added for Session state.
As I alluded before, it is almost as if the control adapter in the .browser file is being ignored (or overridden--is that even possible?).Notable differences: my box is Vista w/IIS 7 (yes, I am testing with IIS 7, NOT the VS2010 mini-server). The server is Server 2003 w/IIS 6. Both my boss and I are sure this was working at one point, but as it is "hidden" from normal view we don't know when it stopped.I can provide more details if someone needs, but again the code itself works on my local box and is pretty much from the SDK.

i want to save the recent state of all controls against a button1 click event. e.g. recently selected item of a dropdownlist should persist selected when user loads page next time, if he/she had clicked button1 before leaing this page. And same for allother controls on this page.
