System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException - No Value Given For One Or More Required Parameters

I have used Visual Studio 2008 ASP.NET AccessDataSource Wizard to generate the update command. The gridview edit button works. But when I click on Update Link in Gridview, I get this message:
System.Data.OleDb.OleDbException: No value given for one or more required parameters.
This is the source code it generated:

I have a simple update query to a access database. Works perfectly on my localhost but when I upload it to the server it displays this. The weird thing in the "

I am using AS 400 OLEDB with .NET. It uses '?' instead of '@param to bind parameters with a commandNow there is a situation where the command is like
SELECT ...
FROM
(SELECT ...
ROW_NUMBER() OVER(ORDER BY ColumnName) as RowNum
FROM Employees e
) as DerivedTableName
WHERE RowNum BETWEEN @startRowIndex AND (@startRowIndex + @maximumRows) - 1
Now my command becomes
SELECT ...
FROM

The update option is using a stored procedure. There are no parameters fro the SP but the error message is saying that parameters are expected. If executed as SQL string then it works OK. I need to use a SP as other updates are required. Code: THIS WORKS
<asp:SqlDataSource ID="SqlDataSource1" runat="server"
ConnectionString="<%$ ConnectionStrings:appConnectionString%>"
ProviderName = "<%$ ConnectionStrings:appConnectionString.ProviderName %>"
SelectCommand = "SELECT * FROM [qryNewManifestSub] where manifestid = 6855"
InsertCommand = "INSERT INTO [qryNewManifest] ([LocationId], [ManifestDate],
[RouteId], [VehicleType], [ManifestType])
VALUES (@LocationId,
CONVERT(DATETIME,@ManifestDate,103), @RouteId, @VehicleType, @ManifestType)"
UpdateCommand = "INSERT INTO dbo.tbl_DEBUG

Database MSSQLSERVER 2008.Visual Web Developer 2008 Express
I am simply attempting to use a details view to insert and edit fields in the database. Some fields in the database have value some are NULL. All fields except the id accept NULL values.This should be a straight forward process, but for some reason it isn't.
Here is the datasource code:
<asp:SqlDataSource ID="SqlDataSource3" runat="server" ConflictDetection="CompareAllValues"
ConnectionString="<%$ ConnectionStrings:llcagentConnectionString %>" [code]....
I would love to find out why this is causing errors.I have checked to make sure the field names are the same, and of course they are since this is generated by the control.I have tested the connection to the database and it is fine.I have attempted to hard code the values into the string, but that too gives me errors and would not be consistent with what I want this control to do.

I am pretty sure this is a basic syntax error, I am new at this and basically figuring things out by trial and error... I am trying to insert data from textboxes into an Access database, where the primary key fields in tableCourse are prefix and course_number. It keeps giving me the "no value given for one or more required parameters" error. Here is my codebehind:
Protected Sub Wizard1_FinishButtonClick(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.WizardNavigationEventArgs) Handles Wizard1.FinishButtonClick
'Collect Data
Dim myDept = txtDept.Text
Dim myFirst = txtFirstName.Text
Dim myLast = txtLastName.Text
Dim myPrefix = txtCoursePrefix.Text
Dim myNum = txtCourseNum.Text
[Code]...
And it inserts the data, I checked the database and it's all there, but it still gives me an error:
"The changes you requested to the table were not successful because they would create duplicate values in the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate entries and try again."

I have an ASP.NET project and I want to use some AjaxToolKit Extenders on my pages.
The site is created in VS2010, set to Framework 4.0.
This is what I did:
1) Add reference "AjaxToolKit.dll" to my project.
2) Add to the toolbar the same file for the controls
3) Add "ToolkitScriptManager" to the page source.
This adds the declaration to the source as well.
Right after this I get the following error:
Reference required to assembly 'System.Web.Extensions, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' containing the base class 'System.Web.UI.ScriptManager'. Add one to your project.

I have small project (C#, Visual Studio 2005, .NET 2.0) that runs a SQL stored procedure and creates an e-mail from the result set. The "To," and "CC" fields are populated from the results. My procedure will only return a single "To" addressee but there can be multiple CC's. The stored proc is written to concatenate them all into a single string, e.g. "[URL]" etc. So..... in my project I am using System.Net.Mail. When I try to code "myMessage.CC.Add(read.GetString(3))" I get the following error:
The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address. In .NET 1.1 using System.Web.Mail this worked just fine. The change to System.Net.Mail resulted in this error. I really can't modify the stored procedure so I need to find a way to get my application to populate the CC field with the complete string returned by that stored procedure. How can I do this? The e-mail addresses are dynamic and I can't hard-code them.

In my vague understanding, any texts are transferred over the internet as streams of bytes. And when you change texts to and from bytes, you need encoding. MailMessage.Body is just a plain string(text) and it gets sent over the internet as emails. Why is it that it can correctly display Chinese characters without even having to specify the encoding?

I have been given a task of reproducing the issue/testing the unauthorized access to file system through request.param and query string.
For instance i have something like this. request.querystring("blah");
How could somebody pass "../../../b1/b2" in the query string and access file system.
This may be related to cross site scripting.

I'm trying to import an Excel file into a datatable. It works fine most of the time. However, I get this error when there are more than 255 columns in the Excel file. The columns are empty (after about 6 or so), but since they've been formatted it sees them anyway.My question is, is there any way around this? Can I limit the amount of columns somehow? Unfortunately, I can't just remove the columns in the Excel document, as this is being designed for users to upload documents, so I have to account for this possibility (even though most of the time there will be maximum 20 columns).Here is the code I'm using:
[Code]....
The exception is thrown on the "da.Fill(_transactions)" line.

I'm using a OleDbDataAdapter object to fetch certain data from a database and place it in a data set object. The code for this is presented below:
oleConn = new OleDbConnection(WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["PTDB-ConnectString"].ConnectionString);
oleConn.Open();
oleComm = new OleDbCommand("spGetPartRevisionFromSN @SerialNumber = " + SN, oleConn);
oleComm.CommandType = CommandType.Text;
ds = new DataSet();
da = new OleDbDataAdapter(oleComm);
da.Fill(ds); //<--OleDbException occurs here
My problem is that when the program reaches the Fill method of the data adapter, I receive an OleDbException with the error being "Incorrect syntax near 'SN' ", where SN is an alphanumeric serial number. I have a few SNs that I'm testing, the pattern I notice is that the method seems to run fine with an SN that begins with a letter, e.g. "J123456", but this exception gets thrown for every SN that begins with a number, e.g. "1ABCDEF". I'm not alterting the SNs, which are just strings, in any way and I've run the SELECT query, defined in the stored procedure, in SQL Server Management Studio with both kinds of SNs without a problem.
