I'm working on a blog and want to show my posts in eastern time zone. i figured that storing everything UTC would be the proper way. This creates a few challenges though:I have to convert all times from UTC to Eastern. This is not a biggie but adds a lot of code.And the "biggie" is that I use a short-date time to reference the posts by passing in a query, ala blogger. The problem is that there is no way to convert the short date time to the proper UTC date because I'm lacking the posted time info.
I'm using a basic date picker control in a gridview and using an sqldatasource, I don't get an error but the date selected is not saved only null is saved. why that might happen or make any suggestions on what I might try to correct this?

When run in browser the textboxdate field shows the current date and time...and Once the textbox incident and text box description fields have been filled in and the submit button is clicked, the fields should be bound to MS SQL table called Incident. I'm using Telerik's RadScheduler Control with WebService Binding.
I've used RadScheduler with Server Side Binding which has an event called "OnTimeSlotCreated" which fires every time when a particular time slot creates so that i can access the time slot and get the control (HtmlTableCell Control) to modify it according to the requirement.
But now i'm binding it from client side through WebService which has no such "onClientTimeSlotCreated" event, also these time slots are not having any identity at client side to access.
my web app uses lots of asp:textboxes and I can save this data back to SQL Server easily using a stored procedure.. however my JQuery datepicker uses an input textbox, how do I save the date entered into this control. <input id="datepicker"type="text" /> back to server and can I use the same stored procedure that I use for the other data?

i want to srore data of login info of admins. If any admin is login then i am storing his name,email id, Login Time in database and when he log out i store the logut time.
