I have a panel and a background image. to stretch this image in the panel if the height is adjusting. I have tried to google this but have trouble find a solution for this. The image has the size: (647 X 158).
The only thing that will change is the height of the panel. Now it does repeat by default. no - repeat will probably only make the image its orignal size wich is not stretching it out over the whole panel.Otherwise I am thinking of change the size of the image itself in C#. [Code]....
I have an AJAX Modal Popup panel that contains a RadioButtonList, 2 labels and 2 DropDowns. I want to update the Labels and DropDowns when a radio button is selected. My attempt at this posts back which causes the ajax popup to disappear.
aspx called on image click: <asp:Panel ID="pnlModalContainer" runat="server"> <asp:RadioButtonList ID="rblTest" runat="server" RepeatDirection="Horizontal" OnSelectedIndexChanged="rblTest_SelectedIndexChanged"> [code]...
I have an Asp.net web page that has 2 buttons with onclick events. The problem is, when a text field has the cursor and the enter key is hit the first button is triggered and not the seconded one (the one I want). I tried setting the tab index values,
I basically have an update panel being dynamically populated with a LinkButtons after a postback. This link buttons are being assigned an event. Now when I click the button the event is not firing. As I understand it the event is not firing because I'm not creating the button in the Page_Load event and therefore .Net does not remember this controls were created after postback. I'm not able to create these controls in the Page_Load as they are dependant on user input. So my question is how can I create these controls dynamically and have the page retain them and their events after postback?
I've googled a bit for the exact order of all gridview events relative to and where inbetween page events. The only Microsoft article: [URL] is not very clear. I'm especially interested in the gridview row_command event relative to page events.
I have been tasked with designing a scheduling system to fit into an existing application. At present I have a SQL Table - Tasks which have a StartDate and EndDate column.
I have a requirement to set the Task as a recurring task i.e. Replace server backup tapes every day, or, Order more stationary once a month.
I am lost on how to design this. I can't seem to find a proper example on the net. can someone point me in the right direction.
I have two panels in a formview. The first panel has a dynamically set image to be used as a stationary background and it has a fixed size. Inside of this panel, I have a second panel with its Z-index set to overlay the first panel. This second "text" panel has five labels in it. These five labels contain text of varying lengths. Some much longer than others.
How can I dynamically change the font size of the labels in the second panel (or the panel as a whole) so that the text (remember it has verying lengths) is contained within the margins of the stationary panel?
I am not certain that using panels is the right way to accomplish this, but could find no other way to do the overlay concept.
I have a page with 2 Controls, a ListBox and a DropDownList.
In the DropDownList you can select a PLACE.
In the ListBox you can see all DOCUMENTS for the selected PLACE.
If you select a DOCUMENT, the program does a redirect on the selected DOCUMENT.
So, there are an AutoPostBack and an Event (if you select another Item) on both Controls.
The problem is: If I select a PLACE, then I select a DOCUMENT (the pdf document is opened), and then I go back on the page and I want to select another PLACE, the program doesn't select another PLACE, but opens the old DOCUMENT, because there are 2 Events, one to change the PLACE and one to open the DOCUMENTS.

I have a SiteMap navigation using an asp:repeater control databound to a SiteMapDataSource. The repeater contains an asp:hyperlink for each node, and the CssClass is explicitly defined:
[Code]....
How would I cause the item that corresponds to the current node on the sitemap tree to have a different CssClass? I've had a few unsuccessful attempts (stab in the dark in all honesty) using the ItemDataBound event handler and inline code.
I include the global style sheet file on the master page's 'head' section, but the child pages show an underline on the class parameters I put on the HTML elements (and they show as 'warnings' in the error list). It still works and the styles do get applied, but how do I tell the pages that their master page has the style definition? (and I don't really want to add the global CSS file to every child page, that should be one of the perks of the Master pages)
I have a multiview, with constant back and next imagebuttons, that are positioned and characterized by an external css style sheet. One of my views however are of different widths from the others so this view needs to have the buttons positioned accordingly. I am trying to do this in my pagebehind VB.NET code with Visual Studio 2008 3.5, of assigned similar Imagebutton.CssClass = "~/css/classname" where classname is the name of the class I wish to set dynamically to the buttons.
Public Sub FwdDetermineMultiView() If mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 0 Then BuildReferralInfo() mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 1 ibtnPersonalInfoBack.Visible = True ElseIf mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 1 Then BuildContactInfo() mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 2 ibtnPersonalInfoBack.CssClass = "~/css/mvPanelNavbtnLeft1245" ElseIf mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 2 Then ICategories.CategoryList = CountChecks(lbCategories) If atLeastOneRowSelected() = True Then ICategories.Category = GetCategoryNames(ICategories.CategoryList) Session("Categories") = ICategories mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 3 Else MsgBox("You must assign at least one category", MsgBoxStyle.Exclamation, Wrn) mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 2 End If ElseIf mvAddReferral.ActiveViewIndex = 3 Then Response.Redirect("~/aacess/Referral/ReferralSummary.aspx?") End If End Sub
how to catch update panel's request start (before partial updation request is sent to server) and response receive (before update panel is updated) events.
