Oct 5, 2010I created a asp.net survey program in which there is a multiview to store different questions and answers.
There are 5 views in a multiview. Each view has varies controls, such as text boxes, dropdown lists, check boxes.
Every time, once user move to next customer, I want to clear all data within 5 views and then start over.
Is there a easy to do it?
Added 5 Views In The MultiView But All Views Are Tight Together?

which will be captured in the textbox for the respective fields.In the second view i have three more fields

maritalstatus
bloodgroup
which will be entered in the respective textboxes and a submit button to store the data in both the views in the sql server database. I have all the fields in the sql server table which are mentioned in the webpage.I need the complete code for storing the entered data in both the views of the multiview control after hitting the submit button.

Feb 3, 2011I am using a MultiView control inside a FormView to break my form into more manageable sections for the end-user. I am trying to make it so that each time the Next button is clicked, the entire form is validated and a list of the fields that have not yet been completed show up in the Validation Summary.
I would like my users to be able to continue through the MultiView 'wizard' even if they haven't completed all the fields -- they should be able to come back to them later. But I would like the ValidationSummary to display the fields they've not completed that are required as a reminder of what to come back to if possible.
I've tried playing around with Page.IsValid with no success.

C# - Clear All Regions / Views On Prism 4 (Silverlight) Logout?
Feb 21, 2011I have an 2 regions in my silverlight application leveraging prism 4 and unity main shell view,
the Authenticated region and Non-authenticated region, and a menu item.
Within the authenticated region, there are a lot more sub regions depending on the view injected into it.
On load of the application, I will be presented with the login screen "Non-authenticated region", when login, I will be presented in the Authenticated region.
When I click on the logout button on the menu, I will again be presented with the login view.
But when I login for the second time, my existing view loaded within the authenticated region is still there.
I tried the following code on logout, to remove all views from that region, but the views retrieved from the container is still the existing view..

Dec 26, 2010I have added a multiview and menu in a web page. I have 2 views. In both the views, i have added 2 dropdownbox. Two different Dropdown box is available in both the views. Dropdownbox are filled from the database.In the first view, i selected a data in the dropdownbox, and moved to the next view. In the second view, i selected a data in the dropdownbox. I clicked on the first menu, and in the dropdownnbox i am not able to retain the selected data. It is going to the default value.

Forms Data Controls :: Trying To Set Default View Of Multiview On Page Load Programmatically
Jun 30, 2010I need a way to change the ActiveViewIndex of a multiview control based on some query results. Right now I test to see if I have rows returned from my linq query. If so, set a certain view active. If no rows are returned, I would like to set a different view active. I would like to do this on Page_Load if possible.
Right now I get the fatal "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error on page load with it bombing at line 12. My count is given a value at runtime so that is not the issue. Can anybody tell me why this is and how to get around it. Code is attached.
I also tried this both the pre render and Page_Init event but both yielded the same behavior with the Object reference not set to an instance of an object error. I can do this just fine in an onclick event for a button, but now I need a way to run a test and set the default view when the page loads. Seecode below

Nov 19, 2010i am using the multiview control inside a page and i am trying to find a control using the javascript function document.getElementById. My Problem is that the function returns null cause it cannot find the control. When i open the code of the page from the browser the active view is not rendered so I think thats the reason why I am getting a null value from the function.
On the HTML code is rendered only the first view or the view that is activated on page load.
Is there any way to find a control inside the view using javascript? or I am doing something wrong?

Jul 8, 2010I have a gridview that has a radiobuttonlist ( YES/NO ) selections. but since you cant uncheck once selected, they are asking to add a clear option so that if they make a mistake they can clear it..
How can i do that within a gridview so that they can clear any mistakes prior to submission?
I have a loop checking all my radiobuttons to perform an update, so if i would like to be able to clear the selection as soon as the click on "Clear" so when they submit, that row shows as if it was never selected.
