Web Forms :: Disable All Buttons When Any Button Is Clicked?
Oct 21, 2015
i have 3 buttons in an aspx page. one for "Save as Draft", 2nd for "Cancel" and 3rd for "submit". Now i want that whenever i click on any of the 3 buttons then all the 3 buttons should get disabled. I'm using c# for the above
I have a grid view with each row as a link button. When I click on the row, some data parsing process takes place (about a 15 sec process). The grid refreshes itself at a regular interval. I want to disable the link when it is clicked once, so that the user gets to know that row has been processed already and does not click it again, until the grid refreshes itself and the row disappears. I am copying my gridview code below. how to disable the link button on that row as soon as it is clicked.
i am working on an asp.net mvc 2 web app and i have ran into an issue. I have implemented client side validation using Html.EnableClientValidation() in my View page for providing the site users the ability to submit or cancel some form fields back to the server database. For this i have implemented an Html.BeginForm() along with 2 submit buttons. One with "Ok" and the other with "Cancel" text.
The ok/cancel funcionality is handled server-side from the controller action. The result is that the form fileds are client-validated when the user clicks the cancel button and this is not what he would expect.
how could avoid this issue? Of cource i could remove the submti cancel button from the form and implement it via an Html action link, but i would prefer finding a solution using the first approach.
i want to disable some buttons in my emptydata template. i tried using this code but it cant find the control. thus returning an error Specified argument was out of the range of valid values.
I have two radio buttons for metric and US measurements. I load the page so the metric radio button is clicked. How do I set the two buttons so when US is clicked metric unclicks and vise versa?
I'm trying to enable/disable buttons in my gridview according to a value in gridview's field. But everytime when I try to run my page, it shows me below underlined error and point to my gvTimeSheet.DataBind() in page_load.
"Unable to cast object of type 'System.EventArgs' to type 'System.Web.UI.WebControls.GridViewRowEventArgs'." I also tried to enable / disable button in HTML but it just against from what I need it to be.
Example, sheet_status = true, I do not need to enable the button.
I have GV with custom edit box. In the GV, I have a button to select the record for editing and another button to navigate to another screen. I was able to disable the button that navigates to the other screen in both normal and edit mode.
Now, I would like to disable all other buttons that remains visible for the other records list to prevent the user from editing other records while in edit mode.
I think my problem is because I am trying to disable a button that is not visible?
I have a asp page with tow buttons search adn enter and asp required field validator in it, what I am trying to do is validate the input only when the enter button is clicked not the search button, right now when the search button is clicked it validates and throws an error.
The whole thing is in a form, and it doesnt postback when this button is clicked. Im no good with javascript, but i got a feeling thats not the problem.
I have a asp.net app that I want to disable the buttons as soon as they are clicked in order to prevent multiple submissions. I'd like to use jquery for this as the site already liberally uses it anyway.
I'm trying to write code that will disable submit button (or all submit buttons) on the page to avoid double postback.I thought of generating my own postback javascript function (and inject postback javascript using GetPostbackEventReference) but maybe there are some better ways to do this? Or maybe there is some other way to avoid double postbacks?
I have four Imagebuttons that I want to disable depending on the Role the user belongs too. I know how do do this in a gridview or detailsview but for some reason it isn't working on just a plain form. So when a User who is not in the "Admin" role logs onto the page he either doesn't see the button or the hyperlink has been disabled thus not allowing him to proceed any further.
I have two buttons on a messaging form. A "To" (who's going to get the message) and "Cc" (who's going to get a copy). The user choose the names from a listbox that popup when the "To" button is clicked. When the user click the "Ok" button the name is moved to the "To" label. If the user now wishes to CC someone how do I get the "ok" button to know I've click the "CC" and not the "To" and to put the name on the "CC" label?I tried switch statement but was not working
i have a asp.net web page in which i have few button controls i have published the web pages & published it in 2 different servers in one of the servers its working fine , but on the otehr one the button controls on the web pages , i am not able to click it, no event gets fired on click not able to trace the cause as on bothe the systems the files(pages/code are same)
Obviously I am a total noob and this is simple to some of you, but I can not figure out why the rest of the sub works, but the button1.Text="Uploading, Please Wait..." seems to be completely ignored.
The button is supposed to change text when clicked but no method I have tried works with my page.
