I want to create a drop down menu in ASP.NET such as this website [URL] when I click on the button or the object I get other links to other pages that I specify by myself. Can anyone show us steps or guide me?

In my application i used drop down list dynamically so that if i enter the the value in the text box that many drop down list genrated with data from database. if i select the different iteam in the drop down list it will not changed it remains the first iteam of the dropdown list. if i use post back event is true in code part that drop down list is not visible.

I have a query give me two column and several rows say 20.
The first column i want to bind with dropdown list and second to textbox.
i would like to dynamically create dropdown list as well as textbox as i do not know how many rows i will get it every time.
My select query is like this -
"select subcatid,categoryname from category where catid=10"
That give me say 12 rows with two columns,i want to select the subcatid and bind it with dropdown list and categoryname to textbox that can be edited by user.
This may or may not be possible but I'm trying my best to find out, I'm a complete novice when it comes to ASP.At the moment I have drafted a basic html page. This page contains a drop down list and several tables all hidden by javascript and then displayed based on the drop down selection (onchange event)I'm trying to convert this into an asp page so that I can dynamically populate the drop down from a table (this will be a list of names)and then based on the drop down selection (onchange does not necessarily have to be used, could maybe use a submit button) will populate a table below the input box with all the information for that name, in many cases this would be multiple rows.

I am using images in the static and dynamic menus. Hard coded at this point.
On my local machine it works fine but when I upload to the server, the image on the dynamci menus do not appear.
Instead I just get white space where the images should be.

I'm using the asp.net menu control. It's working great, but I'm trying to figure out how to make the area around the text in the menu clickable? You see, some words in the menu are much longer than others, and I don't like it that the user has to move their mouse to the left to be able to click on the word in the menu just because it is shorter. Is there a way to make the entire menu item clickable? My menus are across the top of the page Left to Right, and then they drop down. And it's in that dropdown menu that the text length varies.

Its having Level2 HTML menus. In HTML page its working properly,but in aspx page its not working.How to get the drop down level 2 menu in aspx page?
I have created a horizontal menu using <UL> and <li> tags. Hovering over a top level <ul> causes the lower lever <li>'s to drop down. This works well but there are two narrow <div>'s below that act as decoration. These disappear when the drop down submenus lay over them. I have played with the z-index properties of both lower <div> and of the menu items but have not resolved the issue. I want the submenus to drop down over the <div> but for the <div> to remain visible outside of the covering sub-menu.

I want the value, before the edit button is selected, to be the value in one table and once the "Edit" button is selected I want to show values from another table in a drop down menu so the user only has specific values to edit the selected row with.

I have seen tons of posting about how to fix the dynamic menu problem but none of them works for me. I have a web application with the menu in the master page and dynmic menu does not show up/partially hidden when not using IE8 comaptibility mode. Does anybody have a fix? I hae tried the "Z-Index" and CSS without any luck.

I have tried many of the posts that refer to setting up drop down lists but can't set them up in the content because this is a List View.
using Visual Studio 2008. This is for a website which produces .aspx webpages. I am creating a .master page template. I would like to create a horizontal drop down navigation menu using custom buttons. I have button jpg which i really like. I of course want the button to have the title ON the button. When i click on the button it should display its submenu below. This menu would use a sitemenu data source from the actual website. I dont see a way to use your own nav buttons in the Visual Studio toolbox. (sure you can edit the padding, color etc. but that's not what i want) Any suggestions or referrals to any generators that will work with an aspx page?
