I have a webform that gives the user the option to submit 5 referrals. Currently I only have 1 checklistbox that gives the user a choice to select products of interest for all the referrals. I would like to add a checklistbox under each referral input field in case there are different product interest for each referral? So when the referral gets a confirmation email it contains the product of interest that is specific to that referral.

I have an ASP.NET webform where I initialize an array with a list of controls on the page like this
FileUpload[4] = new FileUpload[4];
public myclass()
{
fileUpload[0] = FileUpload1;
fileUpload[0] = FileUpload2;
...etc
}
I then use these in the page load and they are all null. they are null in the constructor but why should they be null when used in the page load.

I'm using VWD2008.
When I got ot File>New File, and Choose a new webform, it creates a "flat" web form. That webform does not create a default code behind page, and it does not create a default Auto-Generated Designer-behind page.

I have the SelectIndexChanged event wired to my CheckListBox but it does not fire when the last item is unchecked. Is that a bug or do I have to set some property that would alow the event to be fired.

I am returning records from the database and I need to compare those records against my checklist box to determine which ones should be checked.
Query is working properly and returning 3 records.
Vehicle ID = 40, Option ID = 1
VehicleID = 40, Option ID = 36
VehicleID = 40, Option ID = 37

i have a checklistbox that is databound during Page_Init in an

block. the user can then check off certain values, and click an asp.net button which posts back the form and renders a crystal report on the same page.
i need to be able to determine which items were checked in the control so that they can be used as parameters in the crystal report. rendering must be done during Page_Init.
the checklistbox object is on the page during design time; only the items are dynamic.
i tried using the Request.Form object during Page_Init to obtain the checkboxlist's items but either i didn't code it correctly or it can't be done that way...
can the checkboxlist items' values be obtained during Page_Init, and if so, how?

I wondered how the more experienced .netters out there would go about creating something whereby users could create online surveys? I can't get my head around it at the moment as I have my survey object but need to store different object types of questions within it. Also does anyone think that creating some custom controls could be the way to go? (survey question controls)

Using Visual Studio 2008, I need to create a custom web form that when picked acts like the web content form, by providing a dialog that lets you pick a master page. I have looked through the webform.zip template and thought I had a clue, but trying different combinations has baffled me as it either doesn't appear or doesn't work.
Also when you set the project type to Web and sub project type to CSharp it doesn't appear, so I don't know if this part of the cause, because I would of hoped that the SupportsMasterPage element would of caused this dialog to appear, if it is a web item, but no luck. Frown
p.s. I have used my googling resources to the maximum so unsure what to do.

I need a way to create a regular expression from a string or an array of domain names. for example string array = [URL]. Once I click save I would want to create a regular expression that would match all 3 with or without '.com' extension. Then Another task would be to pull this data out of regular expression and put it back into an array.

First I am sorry if I am creating a thread in the wrong category as I am not sure which is the best suitable place for this question: I want to create a user defined data structure, which will be a 2 dimensional array such that each individual square of this 2-dimensional array will also store the score and the grades. ( Iam using VB.NET) More details: for example: There is an 2 dimensional array with 3 columns and 2 rows, I want to fill each of the (0,0);(0,1);(0,2) with their own score (Integer type) and grades (String Type). And this is same for the rest of the squares i.e. (1,0);(1,1);(1,2) and (2,0);(2,1);(2,2) After creating such custom data structure: "CustomArray", I should be able to create the instance of this custom data structure (which will be a class) and code something like this:

objCustomArray = New CustomArray

My brain doesn't seem to be working today. I googled around for this and just couldn't find it, which seems kind of strange since this is such a basic question that I can typically find out very quickly.
I'm trying to create an array of DateTime objects. I can't use a List.

However, I get an error, stating use of unassigned local variable.

I need to know what would be the best choice of array to use given the following specifications. This array's size will be predermined upon the loading of the appication. All I want to do is be able to add values to this array and replace preexisting array items with new values without the array changing size. Someone suggested that I use a Dictionary Array Object? I have a method that returns an array of custom class objects that are created by parsing a text file. At the moment every time I use it I am rereading the file which isn't very efficient.
What I wat to do is create an array containing the objects when the page loads and store them in an array which can then be used later.

I thought I could create the static object using something like:

but I am getting the following error:
A field initializer cannot reference the nonstatic field, method, or property 'B2M._Default.readArray(string)'
I am new to C# so this is probably something dumb. (Feel free to poke fun in my general direction if this is the case!)
