I created home page design / layout in photoshop (PSD file)
Converted to HTML file and will contains associated images folder
How can I use this html file in asp.net Master page?
* created ascx file to INCLUDE Banner , Menu Bar Buttons ( on the Banner it selves)
- In html file whole page is displayed.. how to separate Banner n menu bar?
* Is it useful to create ASCX file as whole banner,menu bar buttons n whole page design done n available in HTML format? Instead can we use that HTML file in Master Page?
* had only images of Menu Bar Buttons... Then I need to make it as Hyperlinks tonavigate to web pages... How to get links thru images which is already designed on Banner?

I have horizontal menu with submenus. and below that i have disply above roteting banner. now it works very well in IE but while in Firefox it diaply behind the banner. so that dynamic submenu can not able to disply. I am working on a website at the moment, I am using .NET 4 and VB. My site is contained within a Master Page and all working OK. I am using an ASP:MENU control which is driven by a web.sitemap file and works a treat. I have had an idea of something I would like to know but I am struggling to get it going correctly (not sure if it is even possible) What I am after doing is having the main categories of my website across the top horizonally (this part is no problem) and the sub menu items going vertically but down the left side of the page such as:
Logo Here
Menu Head 1
Menu Head 2
Menu Head 3
Sub Menu Head 1
Sub Menu Head 2
Sub Menu Head 3
Does anyone have any idea if such a thing is possible or not?

I have a table similar to:
ID...NAME.....HTMLTEXT
1....Footer....`<b>test</b>`
where each entry has some HTML text and an associated Name and ID.
What I want to do in ASP.net C# is to list each of these entries on a page in such a way that the HTML text should be displayed exactly how it is meant to be (e.g. <b>test</b> should show 'test' in bold) and each entry should be editable. When the Edit button is clicked on an entry, the HTML text should be replaced by a textbox with the text inside it so that you can edit it and save it.
For example:
FOOTER --EditButton--
TEXT
test
Now I am not sure on what is the best way to do this. Should I use a repeater with an ItemTemplate for each entry? If I use a repeater, and an edit button is clicked, how do I know which edit button is clicked and how do I know which textbox to display the text etc?

there's a label control on the master page..if its value is "Value1" ,I want this CSS Sprite to display on my webform..if the Value is "Value2"..the CSS sprite should use some different image..just the image needs to be changed ..nothing else in that Sprite..
I found out that I can use "FindControl" method to find out what value that Label Control of Master Page's currently got..
Now how do I change that image on the banner ?? How do I go about it ? Also that CSS Sprite now is a user control named "myBanner.ascx"(earlier was an aspx file)..Now do I need to make 2 diff usercontrols or I can implement some logic in one usercontrol itself ?
Should I make 2 copies of this "myBanner.ascx" with JUST the "image name" changed in its CSS ?
What I want is ONE banner which has been made using CSS Sprite ..Now if the "Label Control's "value in the master page is "Value1" then the image to be used on that banner is "IMAGE1" else if "Label Control's" value is "Value2" then "IMAGE2" should be used in that sprite..

I have a situation where I'm using a single Masterpage and two Content Pages. The Master page basically contains a menu built using an HTML Table. The one Content Page contains the marjority of my site content. The way the menu works is that when user selects a menu item, a javascript function executes that evaulates which menu item was selected.
Now, this is where I'm not sure what to do next. Should I load the next Content Page in this javascript function or somewhere in the CodeBehind of the Content Page? I'm trying to find examples where I can load a page using Javascript but not having any luck.

I have an asp:Menu control on a master page that is reading its menu items from a web.sitemap file via a SiteMapDataSource.When I click on a menu, the new page loads which uses the same master page, but the ASP:Menu vanishes. I have put some plain text next to the menu for testing, this appears on the new page but the menu does not.Does anyone know how to get the asp:Menu to remain visible on the page?

We have to develop an application which has a Vertical left pane menu control which displays all the web pages (A,B,C say). Now if user is in page A and filled some data and clicks on menu control to go to page B, all the data in page A needs to be saved. Also if all the required field in page A are not filled and user navigated to page B, there will be one ! sign after the menu so that user can understand that there some some more fields need to be filled up.
We are planning to place the menu control in the Mater page. Please give me some direction to do this. My question is:
1. If user change menu (In Master Page), how should we save data?
2. How should we display the ! in the menu control?

I am using frames in my webpage.in one of the frames i have a menu control whose items are database driven.when click on the menu item, i want another page to be displayed in other frame.
now i want to pass the the selected menu item text to the other page using session variable which is in the menu item click event method.but the thing is when i click on the menu item, the click event is not firing.
is there any better way to pass the selected menu item text to the other page?
