Web Forms :: Label Text Updated From Server Side Is Not Displaying On Page

i use asp.net and c# to build my web application.i'm trying to display message dynamically using ModalPopup extender.I add the event inside a loop and the message is selected according to my logic.My issue is that the label stays empty, it seems that the set does not take effect, so the popup comes up empty.

ASP.NET newbie question - fastest fingers!
I have a page that needs to pull some script off the server, including tag info, for the page. Thus:
<html><body>
blahblahblah
<%: Model.TaggedField %>
</body></html>
Problem is, the value of Model.TaggedField may include HTML tags, but the page automatically converts the tag info to <myTag> etc.
What method can I call to make the value of Model.TaggedField be transmitted verbatim to the page?

I have a hidden variable and its value is being updated using javascript(client side) which I make a call from server side code. After making the call I am not able to retrieve the updated value from Server side variable. I went through this forum [URL] but not able find a way how to implement functionality with IFRAME. I am trying to call the client side code and retrieve the updated value from server side in page_load event.

I have a form where users enter information in a multi-line text box. This could be anything, such as bullets, carriage return line feeds, etc. Think of anything that you might copy and paste into a multi-line text box from Word Pad, or Word. I then store this information into a SQL Server NText field.When I retreive this information, I need to display it as the user entered it into the text box field into a Literal or Label control (or something else if there is a better alternative) to display it. Problem is that when I display this text into the Text
property of a Literal control everything is jumbled and all characters (bullets) are lost, no carriage returns, etc. One big mush of stuff. If I display this information in the Text property of Label control, I get the bullet characters, but no carriage returns

I run through some code in my debugger that is definitely changing the value of a label on a master page. But it's not changed on the page:

I have a Label1 (Which displays the userName on a page fetched from the c sharp). Now how do I display this Label1 on a text box(UserId), that's already binded, on the same page?

I have a ModalPopup panel which can be brought up from various different textboxes on my WebForm. In JavaScript when I being up the ModalPopup I set a label.InnerHtml value. That displays the label properly on the screen, but then when I try to read the label's text property in the codebhind, it is the initial value it was. How can I get such a value to be propgated over to the server?

I needed to display data from a table in this style:

This would all go in a box or table, the bold text is the column names from the table, but id be quite Happy to just have them as text and not display the coloumn headers. whats the best control to display data in this way, ive messing about with different controls but cant get this layout

I have UpdatePanel1 inside of which I have a Server Side Call Button - BT_ServerCall.
Then I have a second UpdatePanel2 which has a listbox (populated in pageload with some items) , a label, a hidden field, and a Button which calls a javascript function BT_JSCall.
Finally there is a second listbox which does not reside in an updatepanel.
i am populating the second listbox with values selected in the first listbox. then I click the BT_JSCall button which calls the javascript function copy_to_hidden_field() , inside which I take the values from the second listbox and store them as a concatenated string in the hidden field. Lastly, in the javascript function I simulate a button click event on BT_ServerCall. At this point I hit the server side method for the click event and I extract the value from the hidden field. lastly I change the value of the hidden field and also copy the new value to the label. I call the updatepanel2 update method (both updatepanels are set to updatemode conditional).
here is the problem: neither the hidden field nor the label get updated with the new text.

I have been messing about with this for hours surely this should be an easy task ....... I have a stored procedured that creates a invoice on a Quotetable one of the parameters is a output parameter Invoice Number this is passed to a label. (Label1) This works great.
I then need to add items to the invoice on a item table so my next stored procedure should take the value of Label1 and update the foreign key quotenumber on the itemtable with the value from label1.
On the aspx page I have a small section for a gridview which shows the current quote with however many items on it using the control

I have a content-sensitive firewall between my clients and my server. If we exclude SSL solution (it's not available in my case) then I was thinking of a javascript library which encrypts custom fields at client-side and a .NET class decrypts them at server-side. Is there any solution out of the box (maybe a server control) ?

The user clicks on a button on a page and as a result he gets a new page send back.
Most times everything is fine now, but sometimes this page needs to be updated within a few seconds but the user don't knows this.
I know I can poll from the client site with reload, but this does not fit here.

I would like to know if there is a way to get the text from the paragraph tags on the server-side. I know I can use a textbox, or rich text editor to get the text, but I am looking to see if this solution exists.My reason for this is I have a table, this table contains a "Notes" column and another column to write the comments.Here is the code to make a paragraph in editable to enter text.

Suppose I'm building a StackOverflow clone using webforms ASP.NET and jQuery. The Question page has a question, several answers, and comments under each. Requirements:Users can post new answers and comments, and edit existing ones, without postbacks. No UpdatePanels; the AJAX calls retrieve just the JSON they need, not HTML fragments. The page loads with all existing answers and comments in place (no javascript needs to run to read the page).
What I'm trying to figure out is how to do this without having to maintain two sets of markup (one that's bound on the client using some form of jQuery templating, and one that's bound on the server using traditional WebForms).
