I am using Visual Studio 2008, .NET version 3.5, and coding in C#.In my masterpage, I have a div:

In the code behind of that masterpage, I am trying to randomize which background image displays for this div on page load.When I run my project, the div has no background image.After opening the site and viewing the page source, the html output is:

Just wondering if anyone has ever managed to find a way to have a datagridview image button column in a template field which display different images on different rows depending on some data element in the row. Our application needs to display a series of fees charged against an account column which will be either less then 500, 500 to 1000 or >1000. Some of those fees are charged at a full rate, others at a partial rate, and some are not charged at all. The user would like to see a simple 3-state graphic which would convey the simple info: full-charge, partial-charge, or no-charge. Sounds easy enough but I've not yet managed to find a way to do this. Every time I attempt to modify the individual cell's graphic it seems to want to change the graphic for all the rows.

But it does not work. Image is like Previous. Note that ImageOperations.ResizeFromStream() method resizes and saves the image to a specefic folder. actually I should trigger a Postback to Update the Update Panel but How to do that. I usedUpdatePanelNew.Update(); but it does not work!

I noticed that once in a while th eprogram stopped working because the .aspx file is changed and some of the place holders disappeared - Why? (the bolded lines disappeared once in a while)

We have recently bought a website that was programed in .asp. Every website page has a line of code that allows it to use the Meta title tag found in the 'Maincontent.master' file.

I want to each page to have its own unique title tag, however I am struggling to implement this. I have tried removing the above line and replacing it with a standard title tag line i.e. <title>About us</title> but when I do this it kills the page completely. how I could replace the above with a unique title tag, or is it not that simple? Descriptions and keywords are not a problem as they are already individually setup; it's just the page title
I have a height on this <div> that I have set to 104%.
Now I am trying to dynamically change this height in the code behind to different % like below example, 110% but the divs height is not changing.
I wonder if I do this wrong ?

& it doesn't really matter which way , whether the code says if image null then display this image from ~/Images/thispic.jpg or if i1 display this image from ~/Images/thispic.jpg for a little bit more insight into this I'm creating a legend for the database and the null has been used for displaying one pic so i'm after the 1 or visa versa to display another image.... and i'm not trying to upload pics to 1000 plus documents, and when i came at it from a sql angle tying 5 tables together the parent table ended up not sending the proper return. is this even possible or am i ahead of visual studio

In my sitemap the title of the page is everytime same. but I want tpo change it at runtime. I am using multiple sitemaps and My sitemap is not the default one. its name is rootSitemap. When this button is clicked, customer records will be taken one by one from one database and syncd with another database. As it is a long running process, when this button is clicked and process starts, I want to show present status in a label box of the same manageCustomer.aspx page. But inside this button click event, where I have codings for this process, when I try to update text of label box, its not changing in that page. only when all process were completed,last text that i gave for label box is displayed. So, How to give updates of running process in a label?

Environment: IE7, ASP.NET 3.5 SP1, C#, IIS 7, intranet, SQL server 2008 R2 enterprise. I'm trying to implement a page with 3 pictures in it (each picture is up to 1MB, jpg format), and switch them with the next 3 each 250 milliseconds. I thought of several methods for implementation:
1. Store all the pictures in a virtual folder, then switching the src attribute of img html element by javascript, and manipulate caching by storing the next 9 pictures also as img element, but with display:none for css.
2. Store the images in a database table and than send it to the client using DIME (don't know how to do it yet).
3. Store the images in a database table and use custom http handler to retrieve the picture (don't know how to do it yet).
4. Client invocation of webservice? Which of the above results the best performance? Is there another method for caching pictures?
