Date1 must not be less than date2 and Date3.
Date2 must not be less than Date1 and larger than Date3.
Date2 and Date3 not be greater than Date1.
I want to compare 2 textboes with date in such a way that one must be less than other. Compare validator is not working Here is the code

Is it possible to check if a validator is a 'validator' and not a 'custom validator' or 'required field validator'?
I'm looking for something like if(val.GetType() = 'validator') but dont seem to be having much luck.
i need to check , client side, if both email and phone number are empty .The textboxes are template columns of a detailview. I've added a custom validator for each textbox (one inside edit template, one inside insert template, etc . . ) each custom validator call the same javascript function . So the problem is : the custom valiator is activated only when at least a charachter is put into a textbox and i want to check if both textbox are empty .

I am trying to check for a condition such that a date in an input control (textbox) is not greater from a date 1 years from current date(exactly) and also it should not be less than a date 1 year back from current date. for eg. if today's date is "21/dec/1990" then usen cannot enter a date in textbox which is less than 21/dec/89 and it should not be greater than 21/dec/1991. for this i first tried to confirm the greater than condition, i wrote the following code:

I know the built-in ASP.Net validators come with a client-side framework, however I've been unable to find anything that lets me check a single validator for it's Valid state.
The validator in question is a RegularExpressionValidator, which I use to determine whether an e-mail address is valid or not.

I need some pointers to start on this.We are building a time off application where three instances of a calendar control will be displayed ( prev - current and next month) now users can click on various dates accross all three instances and then a count of number of days should be diaplyed in the parent textbox.
To begin with this, i started with adding the dates clicked by the user in Calendar2_SelectionChanged method into a list<> so that i can get the all dates user clicked and then add it to calander's selected dates collection. But this throws an e" object reference not set" error.
Is there anyother way to get all the dates that user click onthe calendar( note the dates doesn't get highlighed so seleteddates doesnt work)does anyone has a good example for this.
once a user select an item from dropdownlist > Dates from DB are shown on calendar in pink color.
The problem now is when i want to select new dates the selected dates(in pink) become deselected .. I want them to stay selected so i can know which dates are already used .

When testing it, if I type in the same name including the same case structure, it returns an error. If I change one letter to a different case, it doesn't return an error but rather my SQL server returns a duplicate error. How do I change the server-side validator so that it picks up duplicate names regardless of case?

I have a requirement of converting existing english form to multi lingual form.I am currently converting english form to spanish form.
Everything works except the date formats.
The range validator is not working in a spanish form but works in a english form.

When it comes to field validation, when I use a Compare Validator to make sure a date is a date or a numeric field has a number, I must also use a Required Field Validator to make sure there is something actually enetered. In other words, the Compare Validator allows a blank value even though a blank is not a date or number or whatever.
Is using both a Required Field Validator and a Compare Validator the way to do this or is there some way to make the Compare Validator also require input of some kind?

View 3 RepliesI am generating multi-series graphs with the date along the X-Axis. The problem is that not all of the series in the graph have the same dates in the date range. Meaning that if I choose 1 Feb through 30 Apr that one series may have data that starts at 1 Feb but only goes through the end of March but another series may have data for the entire date range. This skews the charts I need to create. Go, given the date range taken at the begining of the query I'd like to generate a list of dates and populate the data to be graphed, padding those series with 0's for those dates that have no data.
View 3 RepliesI have a validator callout extender that works, it shows the callout box. But, it does a postback. It didn't do a post back the first time I clicked the button but it did for subsequent times. I read on the AJAX site that a custom validator must be used with this for it to work. I'm currently using this with a required field and regular expression validator. It works, the callout appears, but it doesn't work every time with out the post back.I posted this to see if there is a way to get this to work with a required field and regular expression validator, with out using a custom validator. I'm using the newest release of the toolkit, so I thought the documentation may be old, since the callout is appearing.
