i m trying to create some sort of dynamic textbox in my web form, i have a textbox where i enter a number and i want to create textbox as much as the number,
i tried to create tables formed by only rows, it worked but the problem is that the textbox are not created in the page, they are created at the buttom, how can i center the textbox created or position them,

i am creating check box's dynamically and assigning them names like "chk_1" and "chk_2".now if later in my code i want to check if they have been checked how can i do that.if i do something like if chk_1.checked is True then i am getting error that chk_1 is not declared.

The number of buttons is determined from a database where a user can add one or more rows that contain an image for each button, so if a user adds 3 images to a table, 3 image buttons are created. Ive used this code but I get an error at runtime

I basically want one or more buttons to render within the div in the usercontrol. Ive only got the code written for one button at the moment while I test the rendering, eventually they will be rendered in a loop of records taken from a database. Whats the best way to do this ?

It is something like the visual studio, where we get the page opened inside a new tab when you click an item in the Solution explorer. Would any body let me know how to implement this functionality. I have an ascx control that has a bunch of ASP labels and buttons in the ascx page and some other public methods and properties in the code behind. When I drop this ascx control in a page it all works fine. I now have a page with a placeholder and I am trying to dynamically create an instance of my ascx control and put it there. I then reference this control in code and while all public methods and properties are available (ie MyControl.TitleString = "Hello";MyControl.DoSomething();) none of the ASP controls are. Rather, they are all null. So MyControl.buttonSave is null, MyControl.LabelTitle is null, etc. Is this by design? Am I missing something? If not, what's the point of being able to create dynamically do this?

I'm having a SQL table with 4 textboxes and a drpdown list values as columns and i need to insert them into the database. i previously worked on the same requirement where i've collected multiple values frm a listbox control and looped all the selected items and comma seperated them and inserted them into table(here the case is different, there is only one row so it became simple and straight forward during insertion). Now i need to loop throguh all the 4 textbxes which user enters and need to insert those 4 textboxes values into DB under same columns.

I have to show progress bar in datalist and having following scenario:
I am collecting response for the questions For each answer, total no of responses and their respective Percentage(%) is calculated
Now I have to show this % progress in progress bar
means if a answer have 100% response then progress bar show 100% (100% filled) if it have 50% response then only half of progress bar is filled (50% filled)and so on. response is calculated upto one decimal places(like it can be 33.3% or whatever)and respective % have to be shown in progress bar
So I have to create progress bar dynamically for each response %

I have written some code to dynamically generate template columns for gridview which works well. However, each cell in the gridview has to be a linkbutton, which when clicked does a db update and redirects to a specific url with some parameters in it.
I have attached a click event handler to the linkbutton in the InstantiateIn method but the event does not seem to fire.

I would like to give a TextBox in a custom WebPart the ability to AutoComplete on user entry. I am NOT allowed to use the AjaxControlLibrary OR the AjaxControlToolkit. (don't ask... that's just how it is.) Obviously, the TextBox will be instantiated within an UpdatePanel; but how would I go about the rest of this as simply as possible? I would like to be able to pull my list of items for the AutoComplete feature from three potential sources: database, web service, or collection object.
