i have a masterpage in my project when i want to set image's path i have to use for exmaple ../../Image/TopBanner.jpg but some page is in root and some page is in folder so dose not show pictures in the page.

View 17 RepliesSO I upload an image to my server in a folder Called Updates. Than Im trying to view this pic by using the following:

Basically ec.jpg is in a folder called Uploads which is in C:. When I run my web app the pic doesn't show. Ive been trying to figure how to fix this problem for a quiet some time but I cant seem to figure it out. Now if I put the image in my actual Project file and than I try viewing it , it shows just fine.

I have image paths that comes from database and I want to show small ones in Listview and when I click it opens in ModalPopup window with Next and Previous, Close Features..Something like lightbox..I can't make it to work with lightbox.net...

This works fine. Problem is this. When i click btniptal and then i refresh the page modal shows again. But When i click btngiris and then i refresh the page modal doesn't show. When clicking the btniptal button, the modalpopup should not show.If i make this codes in aspx page everything is ok. But i make this in usercontrol.
I debugged my code and it sets the visible to true and it doesn't show up in view/source either. PnlError is the one not displaying...

I have a requirement in my asp.net web application, to send emails that are marked as "Follow up" with the "Reply By" property set. I was able to set both these parameters as explained in the article below:

And the Outlook is showing the email as "Flagged" with the reply by time as set in the code. But the problem is that the outlook doesn't show any alert as the "reply by" time approaches.
This alert appears properly when any "Flagged" email is sent from microsoft outlook, so I am not sure why the emails sent from the web application dont' show the alert?
I use the AdRotator control to display my photos on my main web page without any hypertext link. This work well, but i want to put two arrows or buttons on my page to allow user navigate into my pictures by just clicking on theses button (next, previous).

The third DataSource, dsCriterias, is used to present a set of dynamically added DropDownLists depening on what's selected in the second DropDownList, subcategories. The set of dynamic DropDownLists are presented using this code:

The code works but there's little thing that's bugging me. When the page is first loaded the criterias belonging to the subcategory is not presented. I expect it to show the criterias but ther won't show until I make a choice in the categories-DropDownList meaning if I wan't the first subcategories criterias I have to choose different subcategory and then go back to the first one. It's a bit hard to explain.
An example: When the page is first loaded I get a category presented, eg. Vehicles. In the subcategories I get the alternatives "Bicycles", "Cars" and "Motorcycles". "Bicycles" will be the one presented when the page loads since the stored procedure used by dsSubcategories sorts the data by the subcategory names. The problem is that I don't get the criterias for the "Bicycles" subcategory at page load. To get them I first need to select "Cars" or "Motorcycles" and then choose "Bicycles".
I've tried putting a subcategories.SelectedIndex = 0 in in the OnLoad but nothing seems to do the trick.
I create a site map for my site but it only works three levels deep and I need at least six. How can I do that? Every time I add a child node under "Water Filters, Desalinators or Micropur" the sitemap doesn't show the child node. Until now my sitemap only works three levels deep: Home > Products > Water Filters But I need this: Home > Products > Water Filters > Katadyn > Personal Use > Pocket Turbo 1. I am developing an asp.net website on my local box using VS2010 Ultimate edition. Suddently, when I made Firefox as my default browser, none of the data or control show up!! The same pages work when I use IE8 and Opera, but not with Firefox or Safari. Usually I keep changing the browsers, to make sure that the pages work in all the browsers. Strangely, when I click on the "Outline block level elements" on the Firefox, the controls and data show up, and are highlighted! Once, I unselect the option, they are gone again!
View 3 RepliesI'm builing a websight and has encountered an anoying problem. I'm using a gridview and and in the "gridviewRowDataBound" I placed this code:

the problem is that the tooltip dosn't show some special charactes and since the websight is for swedish users the "Å,Ä,Ö, é" characters is replaced with other special characters and numbers. If i place a tooltip on a button or other elements the tooltips are displayed properly. Does anybody know how to fix this.
I'm trying to create a very simple Column chart. There are 10 items in X axis, but chart shows only 3 of their labels. For clarification, I'm trying to show Product sales count in chart. There are 10 products. In X axis, chart shows 10 products but, only 3 of them has a label for product name. It should be a setting for this, bu I couldn't find it.
View 2 RepliesI do a gridview code that when displaying the information that come from the database is not showing any error at all, but is not displaying the right picture. The problem, I think, is that the (Eval("....") is not reading the values that are coming from the DataKeysNames. Due to this the right pictures are not displayed. But in another column, just for testing purposes I was able to display the values from DataKeysNames with the Eval. So I do not know what is going on and to make worse browser is not giving me any error. So, this is the line that is not processing, reading or executing well:

I have this webform which displays data from the databasenow I have an export button for it which exports the data but not the one which is displayed in the grid it duplicates the data with same name and doesnot show full address just shows firstline of the address in the grid and doesnot show the country.

I´ve got a chart control (column type) and must show many elements at y axis, but when system generates the chart draw, it´s shows only odd elements: For example: My chart must show a colunm containing systems (x) and error incidences (y):

But it´s only shows:

I must set a parameter that forces "all" series to be showed.
I try to use gridview with hyperlink button. once I extract field and put it into gridview there's a field which is TIME(eg. 10:20:00 PM) causes the link not to show out. Is there any way to encode the URL base on the TIME field. Here is my code.

I have it stored properly but when I try to call it and display it on a page using a literal or label control, it does not show the content properly. It will show the text but not any HTML content (i.e. checkboxes, images, hyperlinks, etc)

I've encountered a problem when I put a treeview in a page which is using master page. The treeview style doesn't apply.For example, I set the nodes with different colors in different levels. But the treeview nodes are still displayed in the default color(bule).
