I am trying to add an image to the top of every page on an existing PDF. I have tried using PdfStamp but for some reason when I try to print the pdf from Chrome all I get is a black page. Also Adobe Reader only shows the original document. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get it working? Here is the code.

I am having the following problem while using tables.The pdf cell which contains Name of treasery the word treasery comes on next line. I am setting width for each cell. if i increase the width than also no changes come. The gap which is shown using arrow in below image remain as it is al the time. Why is that gap?How to remove that gap?I want a dotted line as a border to only one cell. how to do that?here is my code

What I am doing is to generate a pdf booklet from database. I need go generate a content table with page numbers. E.g there are two chapters with page number like:
Content table
Chapter 1 ----- 3
Chapter 2 ----- 17
The text "Chapter 1 ----- " is normal paragraph. But the page number "3" has to be produced using PdfTemplate because it can only be known later. But the pdfTemplate is absolutely positioned. How can I know where to position the PdfTemplate? Am I right on this ? How could I figure this out or should I use other methods?
I am using textsharp dll to export to pdf.Its exporting the gridview without the header row.

I had to integrate the GridView to a form that is created at runtime because I said I should be in one, but even so when I export the file I get blank, really I do not know what I'm doing wrong and I have many controls that I have to export.
I'm trying to export my gridview to pdf but the html parsing of the iTextSharp control seems to be failing. I have to create an HtmlForm like below and add the gridview to it because the code is in a custom control, so I cant pass the gridview directly. I get an error saying "gridview must be in a form tag with runat=server"
If I don't insert the test header like i do below, I get an error saying "document has no pages"
At the moment the pdf is generated but it only has the text "testing".
The htmlform html doesn't get parsed i think. Here is a small portion of what the newHtml variable below contains when I create it.

I'm using ItextSharp dll to export my gridview to a pdf document. When it executes htmlworker.Parse(streamreader) I get an error:
Could not find file 'C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedDevServer10.0 '. I never specified this path. How I can resolve this error?
Before converting a gridview to PDF I can modify the font size and color using:

The gridview has different column widths because of the information that is being displayed, those sizes are set .aspx file. But, the generated pdf file auto adjusts the width of each column to be the same size, therefore the information is shrinked and doesnt look good..
I tried the following:
gridview.Width =100;
or
gridview.Style.Add("width","100");
or
gridview.Columns[3].ItemStyle.Width =Unit.Pixel(10);
And many more but haven't been able to adjust the gridview to it's original columns width. How can I do that?

I am using the iTextSharp library to export a gridview with images to pdf. Some of the image urls are not directly to an image, but rather direct you to a .aspx page which displays the image. (includes a parameter with the id, and when you view the url in a browser you can see the image.) When I run the below code, I get an error that the image url in not a recognized image format.

I am making a page that can get some info from a DB from a gridview and then print it to a PDF file. But I am having problems with the background color. If I use this line of code

but when I clicked on my pdfbutton after searching data it make the pdf file of all data present in my table....
I am using ITextSharp to create a pdf. But when I am binding data to Gridview dynamically which was actually a result of ajax webmethod, its showing a blank PDF file. I m doing a project to export the data from Gridview to PDF. Everything was fine and a new pdf document has been opened whenever I click the PDF image but there was no records displayed in it.
I have 15 records in Gridview and those records have displayed using Table Adapter. I used the Sand and Sky Auto Formatting option in Gridview and color, tablecell width, 15 rows are displayed perfectly in PDF without the text. what am I missing.

I have a curious issue,I am using a combination of asp.net controls with Jquery and am using the JQuery plug called datatables. Instead of applying this to a html table, I applied it to an asp.net gridview. To get it to work, I had to add the thead and tbody tags to the grid like so in the c#:

The issue is, is when data is filtered in the table, often there are no results and the emptydatatemplate is used. When this occurs the thead and tbody tags are not in the source outputted by the browser, and an occur occurs and the jquery does not function. Error: 'asSorting' is null or not an objectDoes anyone know a solution? I need to use both the gridview and the jquery datatables ideally.
problem, i've been 3 days more to solve this by myself but i got nothing.. really tired here.
Here's the situation :
1. I want to create a table (gridview) dynamically (programatically)
2. After i created that gridview, i have plan to put it into PlaceHolder.
And here's the problem :
- Whenever i create that table based on OnLoad Event the result is good, data is bounded normally, and from the HTML script i can see the table's script from <table> until </table>
But the main thing :
- If i generate that table not using the OnLoad Event, say, using Event from Click Button : the result is, this gridview printed normally, and the data also bounded normally, but i cannot see this table script using HTML... so far what i could see is <div> (as this is a placeholder).
Did i do something wrong here ? i really need this HTML script for generating other code based on this table, some other action i want to generate are saving data as per row, and authenticate it using javascript.
Actually I already have grid view which show customers list, now i want to add one text box and and button ,customer add category like favorite customer or normal etc and on the basis of this category after button click a new grid view generated on run time which only have same headers like parent grid view but I should be empty,and customer drag the rows from parent grid view to child grid view and after drop on child grid view it should save in data base,,
now im not getting how to do it, because i search on this ,,how to generate run time grid view,mostly codes are in server side ,and if grid view generate in server side how to generate it empty so that it will feasible for me to drag the items from parent grid view to child through jquery sortable function,,either i should use list view or any other option...
