i always convert html designed page to aspx .. sometime it is working well but sometime it is creating problem like : not validate textbox and postback on button click .. I carefully check my page and delete all javascript but still getting same problem

I want if somebody looks for html page which does not exist should also be taken to error page.[URL]( What about html pages section) will only work if the site is hosted at my servers, but in my case the website is hosted somewhere else.
View 2 RepliesI want to show a "Custom error page" when i type a non-existing .aspx or .html page in my application. I had followed the same steps in the link [URL] for the HTML pages also but it is working for .aspx pages but not working for .html pages if I enter any non-existing pages. I had added the path of "aspnet_isapi.dll" for the .html extension in the IIS. I also ensured that the check box "Verify file exists" is unchecked while adding the ".html" entry in the "configuration" of the "Home directory" of the website in the IIS but still it is not working.

I have a data driven asp.net website with frames on the top, left, right and center screen. If a page generates an error on any of the frames, I want to redirect the whole site back to the Default.aspx. Currently, when a frame page errors in one of the frames, that frame gets the error pages. Site is URL.... Is this something that can be handled?

I have one master page that is used to gather information from a user. It contains asp.net labels and textboxes within a table. For example, the master page contains fields for Name , Phone, Address, etc.
There are content pages that are created to add to the information that needs to be gathered. For example, the content page, Loan Application, could ask for Loan Amount, LTV, etc.
In addition to this, certain content page forms do not need to show a particular master page field. For example, the content page may not need to ask for Phone.
The table rows are stored as public properties in the master page so I can hide them in the content page code behind.

The functionality works perfect, but I don't like how the space is reserved on the page. You can tell that a row was removed. I've tried style="border-collapse:collapse" on both the <table> and <tr> elements. I've also tried to set the row height as a public property and alter that.

I have a static HTML page that has the basic design layout of a website that is fully functional. I need to display some data from database inside one of the div tags. I am using ASP .net 3.5 for the dynamic display of data.

I need to made some changes in html before i show that in browser , and i need to make them in memory, so i open and load and make changes to my html Page and , now i need to pass that html string to iframe, but i am not able to do dat from code behind, iframe.innerHtml do not work.
I tried to set innerhtml for a div instead of iframe, that works , but here when browser renders html page, it applies my Html page style sheat on my aspx ( where CSS are defined for body ). Means the CSS for body that is in head of my htmlPage , sets on my aspx page.

I'm having a wicked time trying to redirect the different error scenarios to a custom error page. Basically, I have put some code in Application_Error in global.asax, and done the necessary web.config settings to use Custom Errors.
In global.asax on Application_Error, I stored the Server.GetLastError in Session. The reason I have to store it in Session is because (as far as I know) you lose the exception when using "ResponseRedirect". And the reason I have to use ResponseRedirect is because I am using an UpdatePanel with AJAX calls, and any exception during the AJAX call shows up as a JavaScript error, and doesn't get handled using the custom error page (see this post).

How to print the error description over therein my custom error page.
