I have a ASP.NET web app and I use a ReportViewer control in a page to display the report, when a report is displayed in the ReportViewer oftern the user wants to scroll down to the bottom of the report, but then they have to scroll back to the top to use the toolbar to print or export. Is there a way to make the toolbar always static and only the report content scroll?

when building the nested list every <li> element should contain a <div> with a small icon and a css-style behind.
here is my code:

this way the result in the browser shows the name of every "aNavItem" but there are no icons. if i put the line to set the inner text of the div BEFORE adding the "imgMove" to it both things are shown - the name of the element and on the right the icon
the problem is that i want the icon to be on the left and then the text, but there is no icon at all with the code above (it looks like the setting of the inner text overwrites the already added image-control in the div-tag)

Nov 5, 2010In my Page_Load() event, I'm calling a Sub (in a module UserMenu.vb) that reads an XML file which has the user menu entries. The final menu should be an <ul> with several <li>, some of them with anidated <ul> within. As I understand, I may use a asp:Panel in my page to position a container for this elements I read and in this sub I try to add them using new BulletedList and new ListElement BList.Items.Add(LItem)), but when I get to Panel.Controls.Add(BList) it throws an error that says BList should be inserted in a Form. Why? Aren't they just <ul> and <li>? What other alternative I have to create <ul> and <li> in a specific part of my page?

This code works perfectly fine , depending on the ishyperlink flag in the database...specific cells in the grid are made clickable and then redirected to page2.aspx My Issue: I need to capture which specific cell in which specific grid the user has clicked. store some information in sessions based on the cell clicked and use that information in page2.aspx.

Here is the spec:
The ASP.NET page has a "Filter" component and a "Apply Filter" button. The "Filter" component consists of 4 UI controls as below:
1. A dropdown list with prepopulated values like "Name", "Department", "Building", "Email Address".
2. A dropdown list with four operators - "Equal", "Not Equal", "Like", and "Not Like"
3. This is a dynamic control. It could be a textbox or a dropdown list. If the user chooses "Name" from the first UI control, the third UI control will become a Textbox. If the user chooses "Department" from the first UI control, the third UI control will become a dropdown list with all departments within this company pre-populated.
4. A button with AND expression. If the user clicks this button, one more Filter component will be created.
One possible user case is like this:
ASP.NET: when the page is loaded, it displays one Filter component (3 UI controls and a AND button), a "Apply Filter" button, and an empty "Filter Result" data grid.
