I know how to send mail. but i cant send a mail with images inside. also i need to display the repeater control's content inside my mail. Embedded image procedure not works for me. plz provide some sample code or links. i'm looking for C# code.

In Visual Studio 2008 I am using an asp.net 3.5 listview control as my frontend to an sql server 2005 database backend. I am also using a linq to sql datacontext to query and perform all my backend CRUD commands. Within the OnInserted event of my linqdatasource I am assigning a query string variable (customer_id) to populate a child page (code below). This works perfectly. However, what I would also like to achieve within this event is to build an email body containing other database column references, from my insert, that will send an email to all the email addresses contained within a seperate column from another one of my db tables. Any ideas on how I can achieve this? C# code examples will be appreciated.

i am trying to send emails to internal as well external email id(like gmail,yahoo,rediff etc.) .but the problem is that i can send the email to internal email id and recieve it but when i try to send the mail to external email id iam not able to receive the email. the process runs fine cause no errors are occurring.

I want to write one program by visual studio 2008 (C# and ASP) that has web application and windows application.
I want to get clients images in web app(upload) and store them in DB (mysql) then send these images to windows app via web service (so i new web service, not web site). But i have 2 problems:
I have 2 ways to store images in mysql, first i should have BLOB field in DB -that it takes more space-, second i should save just name of each image in DB(so have image in one folder) -in this way i don't know how get image from clients and store them in that folder-. which one? Or what other? How (code) can i transfer image via web service(Byte[] or? ).

I am working on Shopping Cart its almost done. But i need small help from you guys.In my application final Step when customer try to CheckOut the products cart should be email with attachment as a PDF.
This application developed using vb.net.
I have completed till the checkout page. After that i am not geting any Idea how to send the cart Items to email as a PDF.
I tried to convert the webpage, repeater control to pdf but no luck...I can't spend money on thirdpaty tools.

The part that I am really confused about is that it works with these settings

and get the following error message
"The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.5.1 Authentication Required."
