I can't seem to check the checked value of a dynamic checkbox within a gridview. I've tried dozens of ways to test the checkbox's checked value, but it still returns false, when it should return true. If I change the checked value to true in the ASPX web page, then it will return true, even when it should return false. Any ideas? I've tried many different ways of checking the checkbox value including the one below.
Now what i want to do is, while check one checkbox from the 1st checkbox group the same checkbox should be selected from the second checkbox group automatically, also if i deselect one checkbox that should be deselect from both checkbox group.
I have a web form with a gridview control on it. The GridView has a column of check boxes. Before the web form closes I need to check if more than one check box was checked. If more than one check box was checked, then I need to display a popup message box informing the user that only one check box should be checked? I need to check to see if more than one check box was checked, when a "Submit" button on the form is pressed.
How can this be done using Asp.net/C# and Java Script? I know how to iterate through rows of a Grid control so I can do that in the C# code. But how to keep the web form open before I iterate through the rows, I don't know?
I am using following code on SelectedIndexChanged of Dropdownlist in GridView for filling txtCallCompletion.Text. When i am selecting first time it is coming correct and i am changing value of txtCallCompletion then i am selecting second checkbox then previous checked checkbox's txtCallCompletion value will be same as it is.
how to solve this issue in gridview checkbox i already checked.
I have a gridview that returns several records for the same user and each record has a column with a check box. I need to allow the user to choose only one to check. Also one check box is always supposed to be checked. What is the best way to do it? I was thinking of writing a stored procedure that checks if only one is checked, and then returns true or false. I think there is a more efficient way to do it...
I have a couple of RadioButtons that are created dynamically. But after postback they don't retain their checked property. I also have some CheckBoxes and they work just fine using the same mechanism (code below). I have narrowed down the problem to the "GroupName" property. If I remove it, it works just fine. But I need the RadioButtons to be mutually exclusive.
I have a asp.net treeview control that I need to be able to set a parent node to partially checked to show that child nodes are checked. Basically I need a 3 state or multi-state checkbox. All I can see from looking through the code is ways to set checked true or false.
I have group of radio buttons, each group ranges from 5 - 27 radiobuttons. And if any radio button in a group is checked I store 1 in db else I store 0. Now I'm checking each radiobutton using if loop to see if they are checked and set database value. I'm also trying to use the code below. Is there a good/better approach to check if they are checked or not?Current code:
'rname is radiobutton prefix for a given group 'cnt is number of radiobuttons in the group Private Function RadioIsChecked(ByVal rname As String, ByVal cnt As Integer) As Integer
I am looping through all the posted data on my website and grabbing the values, this will then be used later on. The user is going to put 2 radio buttons on the page, one with a correct answer and one with an incorrect answer. I need to know how to see if a Radio Button is checked or not based on the posted data.

I have a grid view with two columns...one column has a no. like (123) and a check box....which user can checked or unchecked......all I need to do is that I need to disable the man handling of that check box......rather I would like to see a seperate grid view with the same no. of rows as of the first and in this gridview I may allow to type in or scan the no. and if this scanned or typed number matches any no. in the first gridview number then the corresponding check box should be checked/unchecked.
