Aug 8, 2013
I am displaying a list of songs in a table and each one has the flash player next to it.Is there a way i can stop the flash player when a user clicks on another song in the table. currntly they both play togetther.
I have two mp4 video files on webserver, i wanted to play them in flash player(flv player) on my asp.net page, but i couldn't be able to play them, i also tried to play them in quick time player the same prob occured. but i waz giving the accurate path, there were no spaces in mp4 file names etc.
Does it need to have mp4 player(or codec etc) installed on webserver?
I have also some wmv files on that server , and i am playing perfectly using silver light player, and media player object on my website.
1. I want to stop multiple clicks on a submit button. Once the user has clicked the submit button,he has been redirected to next page. but he should not be allowed to click submit button multiple times.
2. once the user has gone to the next page, he should not be able to come back to previuos page,; if at all he comes back-- all the form fields should get cleared. how?
I have a gridview control to which I bind some data.In my gridview, i have a bound column and a Template field which contains a Button and sets the command argument for the button.
I have a form free user feilds, some drop down which are populated by a database data and a button. I want to create a new line in a table when the user clicks on the button. the values for this new line will come from the Values (not visible content) of the drop box, the content of the text feild, the user ID that I should get from the connection and the current date... ie, I want do do a INSERT INTO table (userid, dropdown, text, date) values (how do I get the user ID from the session?, how do I get the value from the drop down?, how do I get the text from the text box?, how do I get the current date?)
I have followed all the steps in the link [URL] and all the functions are working except that the flash player is not getting displayed in the gridview and hence i am not able to play.
I am working on an ASP.NET Web application and I want it to have audio playback functionality. I can do is using directories. For example, using the ASP.NET Audio control like :- , is pretty easy and straight-forward and works accordingly. But, the trouble comes when I'm using a database and the control. I am totally new to data binding in ASP.NET. I don't like using JavaScript, but i am comfortable using it, but I would prefer C# solution (I know beggars can't be choosers).
I have a database containing only one table called tblAudio. This table has two fields only for the title of the audio file (type NVARCHAR(MAX)) and the field for the actual audio (type VAR BINARY(MAX)). I'm using Visual Studio 2010 Professional with SQL Server Express Edition. The table has a single record with the relevant data in their fields.
I have a page which allows the user to send email. After they click the submit button, I display a confirmation message. However, if the user clicks the browser's Refresh button once the confirmation message is displayed, the email is sent a second time (or a third, fourth, fifth, etc.). What can I do to prevent the Refresh button from resending the email?
I want to reload the page when the user clicks on the back button, from a particular page.Say for example there are three pages:
Page1.aspx,Page2.aspx,Page3.aspx
I want when user move from Page2 to Page3. When he clicks on "Back" button on browser page shld load I have tried adding a onload function JS in Page2 it works out. The issue is identifying user is coming from Page3.
I'm using a ASP.NET Web Form to capture information from a user and then email the results to me. This is working well.
The problem is, that the SMTP Relay Server I am using from my ISP seems to be a bit slow so once I hit SEND on the form, it seems to take a little longer than average before sending the user through to the "Thank-You" page.
To counter-act the long wait time, I would like to add a little bit of code that will display on the Web Form once the user clicks the send button, but before the data is actually sent or they are forwarded on to the thank-you page.
Right now in my file.aspx.vb I have:
Try smtpClient.Send(mailMessage) Response.Redirect("thankyou.aspx") Catch smtpExc As System.Net.Mail.SmtpException 'Log error information on which email failed. Catch ex As Exception 'Log general errors End Try
What I'm wondering is if it is possible to have a HIDDEN control of some type on the form and then change Visible=False to Visible=True to have the text display once the user clicks the Send button? Or should this be done another way?
I'm trying to populate a gridview after the user clicks a button. In the button_click event handler I'm fetching the info I want to display on the grid. this is the code I'm using to do it...
I am changing a vb.net windows form program to browers application using asp.net and code behind vb.net. The form has a textbox for a date, currently when user clicks in the textbox a calendar pops up to force the user to select from the calendar. How do I do this using asp.net/code behind vb.net.
my dropdown list contains 3 items google, yahoo, hotmail.
