Now i want to add re-order /re-arraning functionaly .. but i can't use ajax reorder list because i have 5 hard corded texbox. how can i maintain the order in Insert/Update cases. And also suggest me control that i can use, another than ajax re-order list. coz i not using any list items i have hard corded items on the page.

Access :: UpdateParameters - Form Order - UpdateCommand Order?
Apr 24, 2010From my testing, it appears that the order of parameters for the UpdateParameters must match both the order of the bound fields on the form (asp:Formview), and the order of the parameters in the UpdateCommand. Is that correct? If so, why do the parameters have names if all that matters is the order? I tried both asp:ControlParameter and asp:Parameter. Maybe the more relevant question is why aren't the names used instead of the order, particularly for the form order?
So, given I display the Identity field (CID), and need that for the update, I cannot get the update to work without including it in the UpdateCommand. Of course, since it is an autonumber field in Access, I cannot actually set it. So, I had to add another field to the db (lngUpdateCID) that I could set. That can't be how it has to be done, but I could not figure out another way to do this.

Apr 16, 2010I'm encrypting the web.config in our web sites using aspnet_regiis. However, I want the ability to export the encryption key so if we need to move from Machine A to Machine B, asp.net will be able to decrypt it. When I run aspnetregiis -px "NetFrameworkConfigurationKey" c:keys.xml -pri, I get the following : 'Key not valid for use in specified state'. I've seen all kinds of responses online but they don't seem to apply. It's not an invalid key because when I use aspnet_regiis to encrypt sections of the web.config, they encrypt fine.

Jan 20, 2011I am developing an application using ASP.NET (C#) and SQLServer 2008. In my database i have a field DepositDate and datatype is "DATE". On my data entry form i am taking dates using jquery datepicker and its returning date in textbox as dd/mm/yyyy format as per user requirement whereas i noticed in database its keeping date values as yyyy-mm-dd..i am confused.
While saving record i am getting not a valid date time as the only available conversion format is Convert.ToDateTime and my data requirement is DATE only. Can anyone suggest solution how to deal with it.?

Right now I fill a variable with the querystring info and then pull all the gamenames from the DB into a datatable. Once that is done I stepthough the entire table compairing thegame name to the querystring. If a valid entry is found I run a sub that does what I need it to do. Mar 15, 2010I imagine this would be simple, but I can't find an answer. We set the theme of a page based on a query string parameter (like '?theme=theme1' etc). I just want to know if there is an easy way to tell the theme name is valid, before setting it, or catching and handling the error if it is invalid. The error I get if the theme does not exists is:
"Theme 'theme1' cannot be found in the application or global theme directories."
I am not sure when the exception is thrown. All I can think of is searching the folder, but I would think there would be a simpler way.

I have written xmlrpcstruct in the interface class and make this interface derived from xmlrpcproxy interface. In the main(), i have written the definition of the interface with xmlprcProxyGen and called the xmlprcstruct and passed the parameters to the webservice. When I am running the project, I got the error on the code for passing the parameters to the webservice point. What I am missing here?
