Feb 13, 2010I have a DataTable for which a PrimaryKey constraint has been set to be a combination of an integer column and a datetime column. When I try to 'Find' a row by saying,
dtFunds.Rows.Find(iContainerIndex)
I get a null value. iContainerIndex has been defined as an object array of size 2 with the integer ID and date values in it.
When I set a breakpoint in my code, I see that the very same values are present in the datatable.
If I try to execute, DataTable.Select() method with the integer column filter, I get a result - but returns no result when called with the date column filter.
What am I doing wrong here? The very same DateTime value is present in the datatable.

i want to find the percentage of the data which is avaibale in the table and how much percentage of data is unavailable ( or null). to make a comparision chart.
i have 6000 rows and 200 columns in a table , if i use sql cursor , it is taking too much time to execute ( 6000 * 200 ) loops. is there any inbuilt-function in sql to do it .?

Sep 9, 2010I have a DataTable of available time slots. I have another DataTable of reserved time slots. I need to remove from the list of available slots the ones that have been reserved. The blocks are in 15 minute increments, but one of my problems is that the reservation can be longer than 15 minutes. I've had some luck removing one or two, but not all of the required columns.

The above code obviously does not work.. but how do you find a DataTable like you do FindControl with WebControls??

I found a blog post using the List's Find method along with a delegate, but whereas that example has a separate class (Person), I'm attempting something like the following using an instance of the string object:

When I try to insert data all I get are null values and when I update, none of the values are updated. The formview looks like its working, but just doesn't. The primary key is an identity and it auto-increments by one.

AddButton adds new row to DataTable with data from textboxes, binds DataTable to GridView SubmitButton sends data to database. The Adding of a row works to add the row to the gridview, but it won't add a second or third and so on, only adds the 1. SubmitButton belives the DataTable that GridView is databound to is null and won't send anything to the database. How can i get the datatable to persist between the two update panels? Do i use Sessions as my storage location? Page

AJAX $find Always Returns Null In Usercontrol?
Jul 30, 2010I want to use multiple targets with my ModalPopUp extender. One of my buttons is set as target in the ModalPopup and the other one will use server-side code to show the ModalPopup.
This is my ModalPopup so far:

Then I found this little tutorial on the ASP.NET AJAX site.But when I use $find("modalInform") in the pageLoad Javascript function (as defined in the tutorial at the bottom), I'm always getting a $find("modalInform") is null error.
This code is included in a usercontrol, the usercontrol is used in a ASPX page and this ASPX-page uses a MasterPage.
I've noticed that if I'm using
<%= modalInform.ClientID %>
I'm getting a different value then defined in my HTML-source (propably because of the MasterPage?).
