I have a bunch of programs written in ASP.NET 3.5 and 4. I can load them fine (I'm in England) and so can my England based colleagues. My American colleagues however are suffering redirect loops when trying to load any of the apps. I have tried myself using Hide My Ass and can consistently recreate this issue.I'm stumped. What could be causing a redirect loop for users in a specific country?!The apps are hosted on IIS 6 on a dedicated Windows Server 2003. I have restarted IIS with no luck.EditI should have made it clear that unfortunately I do not have access to the machines in the US to run Firefox Firebug/Fiddler. The message I get in Chrome is This webpage has a redirect loop..
I'm having real trouble redirecting pages from http to https on my live website. Everything is fine on my IDE but as soon as I upload it to my shared web host (123-reg.co.uk) I hit a problem. When I try to redirect to https using Response.Redirect it seems a loop occurs and the request is never carried out.
The code I've tried:
[Code]....
and
[Code]....
Both above methods worked fine in my IDE but not on my live system.
In IE nothing happens but in Firefox the below error is displayed:
"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. "
This is a corporate site so Private. We want to limit access by IP address to USA/Canada or North America. Based on IP range, would allow user/pwd to get in otherwise -'no access'. Just trying to limit hack exposure from anything overseas.
I have an ASP .NET website that uses cookieless sessions When the initial request is made to the site IE just displays the standard "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" message Firefox displays the following message: The page isn't redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. *This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies. The site works fine with my development server and under IIS6. If I switch off cookieless sessions then everything is fine
Im stuck with declaring a string which is in a loop within another loop.

I want to redirect to "~/City/Göteborg", but if I just write Response.Redirect("~/City/Göteborg"); I will end up with an ugly URL in the address-bar like this: http://www.mysite.com/City/G%c3%b6teborg..
So my question is how to redirect to obtain a clean url like http://www.mysite.com/City/Göteborg?

If Request.ServerVariables("server_name") = [URL] Then ' Allow scripts and css to logged in CMS users' Dim checkLogin As New Controls.Login If checkLogin.IsLoggedIn <> True Then For Each Control In Page.Header.Controls If Control.GetType.Name = "EktronJsControl" Or Control.GetType.Name = "EktronCssControl" Or Control.GetType.Name = "EktronModalCss" Then Page.Header.Controls.Remove(Control) Else ' Removes the extra bubble inline style stuff that wasn't put in a CSS.'' I have an issue with a Loop that doesn't actually loop. I've posted a simplified version of my code below. Basically, using the NPOI excel library, I have an excel file with data on the first and second sheet, so I need to do a loop to get through both sheets. Below is what I have done so far, however this only works through the first sheet and then exits. It fails to increment the variable w. As you can see, there are other loops implemented in this code which function fine so I don't get it.It's been a very long day and perhaps I'm missing something very simple. I could have it placed wrong or something. If anyone else can spot what I might be doing wrong I'd be very grateful :)
