I have a Solution with a web project and some class libraries. The enumerations are in a the enumerations folder within my web project. I would like to make some of the enumerations available to other class libraries within my Solution. Should I just add another class library and call it Enumerations to my Solution so that all class libraries and my web project can access them?

We are developing products that will be used in the following way:
Various shared libraries which may be used by multiple products. I anticipate these libraries will mostly need to access string resources that contain error messages/exceptions. Various end-user based applications, designed to run as standalone apps on a PC. They will be required to support multiple languages upon deployment/installation.
Various web-sites which may be required to support multiple languages either at deployment time or possibly at runtime (i.e. minimal or zero downtime). Potentially the site might need to support multiple languages at the same time if being accessed globally.
We may be required to allow customers access to our language files for editing themselves. We would not wish to allow them access to our source code (other than the resource files/dlls) in order to achieve this. We might need to incorporate a facility to log exceptions in our native language (English in this case) and display them in the translated language. This will us debug our customers solutions in the field.
I am already aware of products like RCWinTrans and handling multiple languages in VC++/MFC applications. However, the requirements we are faced with here are more extensive and thus require us to make a few up front decisions that could be difficult to change long term, so ideally we want to make the best choice now. Based on my own knowledge, I have a few questions although I may be missing some tricks with .net that will be happily received. Here are my questions:
What would be best? Put all our resources in a seperate DLL per VS solution OR put the resources in each VS project. The way I see it per solution is easier to manage, modify, and allow customer access. The per project solution seems cleaner though and makes the individual projects more portable. This method would apply to our shared library based solutions as well as our end-application based solutions.
Is it possible to have two seperate resource files loaded at once i.e. if we want to log the exceptions in English but supply them back up the food chain (as a message in an exception) in the translated language? Are there any tricks we can use to automate this like AOP?
I have a Solution that has two class libraries. I'm trying to convert the whole solution from asp.net 3.5 to 4.
Right now the libraries are in my Visual Studio 2008 projects folder. I've installed VS 2010. Should I just copy the libraries from the 2008 project folder to my 2010 project folder and open them in VS 2010?
What is the best practices for this? The entire solution is in a single folder in my VS 2008 Project folder, and each application and class library is in their own subfolder.
I am starting an MVC application and designing the class libraries structure at the moment. I started off with the following class library structure as below.

As there will be about 3-4 developers working on the project I thought it might be useful to split out each section of the application into their own class libraries so each developer can work on a different section without interferring with each other.
In our application we have 5 tabs e.g. Dashboard, Admin, Reports, Editor, Subscribers. Would it be wise to put each tab into its own class library like below.

our dev shop uses the naming guidelines as laid out in MS's MSDN content "Design Guidelines for Developing Class Libraries". It's a pain though having to refer to this via the web only. Does anyone know if this content is available in PDF or CHM format? My devs are resisting reviewing the webpage and I think sticking a portable file in their face might be more successful.

I am a java developer that inherited a vb.net web application. This app relies on a VB class assembly that builds in to a dll. I have made some changes to this class assembly but I cant seem to get the vb.net app to pick up the changes. I thought that using regsvr32.exe or regasm.exe would do the trick but after reading a bit more they don't appear to do what I need.When vb.net uses code such as this import where is it getting the reference to "MyClassName"?

So when I pass DataRow to liquid, liquid wont let me show it's content and tells me that:
'System.Data.DataRow' is invalid because it is neither a built-in type nor implements ILiquidizable

In the development, it works nicely. Until I deported to production, I realise that the component that use those thing .. it just hang. I found that under BIN when it compiled dewaCorp.EUC.TelcoDB.Data.dll.config and open up that file and turn out nothing.

I've also made a class called PurchaseOrder... it's also in the same namespace, just in a separate file. Whenever I try to make PurchaseOrder implement ApprovalEvent it always says that ApprovalEvent is undefined...
How can I make the class recognize that the interface exists but is in a different file?
