Php - How To Embed The Result Of A Webpage Into Another Webpage On Another Website
Mar 23, 2010
I would like to allow users to call my ruby on rails app as a service which returns a 'div' with html content in it, and embed that div into their app (which will not be a rails application).
For example, assume someone has their own php website that has a header/footer template that gets rendered, and a content area of the page that they need to fill based on some html I generate in my rails app. I would like to allow them, from php, to call to my website, get the 'div' I generate, and embed that as html in their php page.
What I'm trying to do is host a service on my site that returns some html content, but actually show that content as part of another site, so that the end user only sees the other site and never really knows about mine.
I have an Excel worksheet. That I somehow have managed to embed onto the webpage. My question is: Is it possible for me to get the background colors, the font used and text color used in the worksheet to show up on the webpage? T
I am working on a financial portal and I am having a problem..I don;t know what to call it so i mentioned it as an 'unknown to me' problem..I have a webpage..whenever I click on any button on my webpage, the request goes through..but nothing show up on the webpage..then If I click on another link and then again come back to previous link, then only I see the results of button_click..
I have a currency conversion and investment form..so after filling up the form in following way and if I click on "INVEST" then nothing shows up..
so now if i click on any other link and go back to 'buy currency' link I see the result as 'investment successful'
We have a web site that sits on a DotNetNuke platform and all of our coded modules are written in VB.Net for consistency. However, we have been sent a web page that works as a link and it is written in C# and references a cs file in its App_Code folder. If we try and load this into our website we get an error saying that it is not written in VB we then tried converting the homepage to VB but the reference folder is very complex and written in C#. Can we load the reference file even though it is C# and reference it using VB code. The current all is OurRemService RemService = New OurRemService(); where OurRemService is a file in the App_Code folder in the web page folder. The only other way around this is for us to set it up in IIS as a virtual directory and reference it directly but we would prefer to integrate it into our website.
My requirement is that I have a few hyperlinks on a webpage and when the user clicks on these hyperlinks I should redirect the user to an asp.net web page(Default.aspx) in a different website.
For the 1st time when the user clicks on one of the hyperlinks it will launch a new browser window with the Default.aspx loaded and then if the user clicks on some other hyperlink I want to redirect the user to the existing browser window(in which deafult.aspx is already loaded)with the content related to this particular hyperlink loaded, instead of launching a new browser window/tab.
But I am not sure of how to achieve this.I wonder if I can add some js to the asp.net Default.aspx page to achieve this.
I am a begineer in ASP.Net programming. After learning the basics, I tried to host a simple website in a virtual directory. But the explorer returns error mentioned in the subject. Background tools used:
Operating system - Windows XP SP 3
IIS Server - 5.1
Internet explorer - 8
Visual Studio 2010
.Net Frame Work - 4
I have tried numerous ways described in various articles including those posted in this site to get the error solved, but in vain.
How can I modify a web page from another web page, somthing loke a CMS. In other words, I want to create a web page (Page1.aspx) that a user enters text in a textbox and then clicks a submit button. On code-behind, takes that text and adds it to another page (Page2.aspx) in a DIV tag with an ID="divToModify", similar to what a CMS does.
I have a website1 that works. I created a new website2. I went to windows explorer and copied website1 folders and files to website2 directory. I created aspnetdb in website1 using the membership provider service. I detached it from website1 and attached it to website2. When I run website2 in debug, I get message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
Is it possible to embed just the body of a different website into my website. I don't want to just add a link because I want my side menu to still be visible when the user is looking through the other websites content.
