Sql Server - Create A Custom Button In A DetailsView?

I am a newbie in ASP.NET. I just want to ask if it is possible to create a button or hyperlink in a DetailsView. I know that there are Edit, Delete, etc. in a DetailsView, but I want to create another button or hyperlink for my own function.
Actual Scenario: I have a DetailsView connected in a temporary sql server table via ObjectDataSource. What I need to do is to check/view each data in that table through the DetailsView and if I think the data is correct, I must click a certain button/hyperlink to transfer that data (row) to another table in that DB.
I'm new to .NET. I'm trying to create a button dynamically with event by original button. The original button's click event response creates a button. The new button has a click event attached with a test message.What I have to do is onclick change background color of dynamically created button and grab id value to delete when button delete is clicked. Unfortunately, when I click the dynamically attached button, nothing happens.
I have currently on multiple pages a modal popup that displays the information below, we are getting to the point where we need to call this popup from multiple locations, currently i have duplicate setups on each page that i want to use it on, but its becoming a mess to manage when a change is needed.. so im looking to see if what i have within the modal popup can be turned into a control that i can call anywhere thru out the site and have just 1 setup to maintain going forward..If its possible to create a control that can then be placed within the modal popup and server the same purpose that would be great any links here is what i have within the modal popup that i have on atleast 3 pages currently..
I built a webcontrol showing a complex user interface with a lot of javascript. Basically my webcontrol is similar to : [URL]
Now that most the user interface is working properly, I'm stuck with the following issue: I want to add a button (html button tag) which has to trigger an event. I have been able to declare the event, the event args, the delegate,etc. The page using my control may assign a handler and that handler is called correctly when I explicitely call OnServerControlClick (The name I gave to the event). I cannot make the link between the button in the user interface and the event in the webcontrol source code. When the button is clicked, I get an error message saying a dangerous Request.Form value has been detected.
I want to create a custom Toolbox in asp.net which will contain all custom control that i have made. Now the user will drag these controls from custom toolbox at run time and create form. I tried but did not succeeded.
I am trying to create a web custom control but I am unable to find the templete that should be in my projects window. I am using Visual Studio Pro and it should be there. Doc's say standard version doesn't have it but thats all I can find.
But I´m trying to do that programmatically, not with the sqldatasource. So I wrote the method that binds data to Detailsview and I call it in the page_load. My problem is that: after add first row that has a textbox, next row doesn't add by click button. I think Controls delete after post back in server and first textbox delete and new textbox add same position. what is solution after every click, a row with textbox add to the table?

I need a way to create unique values for a property in my custom server control..
In this case I will have the poroperty called "Name" and I neeed the value of Name to be unique for each "instance" of the control...
So for instance if I have a page with more then one instance of the control, I dont want the value of the Name property for these instances to be allowed to be the same..
...to put it kind of simple, if I dont remember this incorrect, I want it to be sort of like the ID property..but with another name then ID.
