Has anyone got example code or links which demonstrate how to lazy-load nodes in this control?The current implementation that we have loads 1.35MB of html because it is populating the entire tree!!

Oct 11, 2010I am having a grid with checkboxes corresponding to each row to enable select.There is a dropdownlist populated with several action items and a button which will trigger the selected action from the dropdown.One among the dropdownlist action is "Export to excel".I am using the infragistics UltraWebGridExcelExporter control for this.Both the grid and UltraWebGridExcelExporter is placed inside an AJAX updatepanel.I need the export to excel functionality to work without full page postback.For this I have added a AsyncPostBack Trigger for the button to the updatePanel.But the export to excel is throwing "Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException" with this.If I am adding PostBack Trigger for the button, the export to excel is working fine.But the whole page posts back.Is there a way to solve this?

Infragistics UltraWebGrid - Grids Position Fixed And Are Not Scrolling With Page?
Aug 4, 2010I have two grids on a page that seem to always be position:fixed.I want them to scroll with the page when an overflow scrollbar appears on the body. The grids however ALWAYS stay in the same place and don't scroll with the rest of the page content.Is there any way to get an UltraWebGrid to be relative and scroll up the page with the rest of the page's content?This seems to work in IE6 but not in IE8.

Oct 5, 2010I work in VS 2008. Whenver I add a server control(Label) and set it properties in aspx.vb and build the solution, I get the error "Label1 not declared". While analyzing this issue I noticed that the event handler statements for the Label1 where not added in the designer.asp.vb file. These statement would actually be added automatically when I drag and drop a control to my webpage.
I would also like to inform the scenario after which this problem came to me. I was working in VS 2008 , VS 2005 and VS 2003 in the same machine.Could this have caused the issue ?
Now each and everytime when I add a control, I am adding the "With Events" code in the designer page to make my build succesfull which makes me to spend more efforts.
Vb.net - Accessing A Windows Application From An ASPX Page?
Aug 2, 2010I have an aspx page and I want to access an application on the client after seeking user permission. Both the windows application and the website are to be made in VB.NET.
EDIT: Here is the problem. From my .aspx webpage in vb.net, a visitor clicks on a link on my site, and if my winform is not already loaded on their desktop, it is then loaded with the users permission. This application should auto-load on the user's site at boot up time and always be in the background running. Make it an extremely thin client, taking the least cpu and bandwidth from the user, and running as a silent background process until needed.
Whenever the user visits one of my many websites, IN ANY BROWSER, somehow - the app running in the background communicates with the .aspx on one of my sites, and exchanges a silent username password identifying client winform app to the online .aspx app on my website.
Then the .aspx on my site PASSES a url such as "www.somewebsite.com" to the app running in the background, the background app then does a http request from the client's computer, not from my .aspx server, so the client's cookies and ip are visible to "www.somewebsite.com" server. The client collects the html for that page, stores it as a string, and also saves the ascii of that webpage as another string.
Both strings then are PASSED BACK to my .aspx website that the client is visiting, and the .aspx app then stores these results in a database.
Does Code In Aspx Page Get Compiled In A Web Application?

Now, is it possible to load the aspx page which is a part of the web service from the calling web application i.e. from another aspx page which is outside the web service.
How this scenario is;
I have one web application running with a page say Page1.aspx in browser. 2. I have created a web service which is having an aspx page say Page2.aspx. 3. There is a button on Page1.aspx. 4. Now, when client click on the button, is it possible to load Page2.aspx, which is not a part of web application, but the web service.

May 30, 2010I need to force SSL when going to the final checkout page (for example from default.aspx to checkout.aspx).
I need to pass variables to this check out page and tried to use server.transfer(https://www.mydomain.com/checkout.aspx). I then use previous page .Fincontrol to read text box and label name to this check out page. If I only do the server.transfer("~/checkout.aspx") then my I can read all vakues of my controls from the passing default.aspx page.
But when I force https:// then I cannot read the control values from default.aspx page.
Please give me some tips on how to get control values to the https:// destination page or if you have another tips on how to do it the right way, please let me know.
