but i want loop through each chart series item and assign them a color from an array. Is it possible with MS Chart control iam using the Column Bar chart for displaying the data.
If its not possible with the "chart" control that comes in System.Web.Helpers assembly, then can someone point me how to do this with asp.net control for webforms in a MVC project
when i run this am able to see two yello color and two green color and one red color datapoint in my piechart. how to i club the datapoint to show one green color, one yello color and one redcolor datapoint. because i should have only three colors with three area of plotting.

I want to code some colors in the style property of some controls. For instance, I want to use some like DarkGoldenrod, which is shown as

How do I convert this to something that I can use in a style property (e.g., style="color: #CCCCCC)? I know how to convert the first three numbers (255, 184, 134) into a six digit hex value, but what do I do with the fourth number (11)?

In the above code 'PlantInventoryAccuracy' is the name of the Strongly Typed Dataset and 'PlantInventoryAccuracyDataTable' is the dataTable. when I try o debug this to see if my user input values are being assigned to te currentRow I see blue squuiggly line under the 'new' key word when I mouse hover it says
'The type PlantInventoryAccuracy.PlantInventoryAccuracyRow has no constructors defined.'

I'm building an asp.net app using themes, and I've assigned a theme to the app using the web config.
I have a bookmark icon that I want to use for my page and it is located in the themes directory, but I am having trouble referencing the themes location from a link tag in my header.
First I tried putting a code block inside the link tags href element, which did not work. Instead all it did was html encode the <% characters and output it directly to the browser:

myNameSapce.Config.sType is a public value from a class, I just can't get that value for above inline code, is it possible to do that? Otherwise, I need go to the .cs file to do this: myControl1.sUserType = myNameSapce.Config.sType; But still hope I can do the inline code.
I am creating a custom control and was wondering if it is possible to render any JavaScript in the head tags of the page it is placed on? I am thinking I would need to use the FindControl method, but am not sure what I need to bind to. I am thinking the page object? I have not got the columns to change their color. I have put the code inside every event handler I could think of (after it failed to work inside the page load event handler): Inside the chart Init, load, and pre_render handlers. Inside the click event handler for the voting button (before and after I call the chart.DataBind() method). Inside the page pre_render handler. Inside the ToolKitScriptManager pre_render handler. I checked the code behind the environment samples. All, to no avail.
