I'm using an <asp:Repeater> in asp.NET to create several such <div>s.The problem is that all clicks in the div are picked up by this jQuery - I also have an <asp:Button> inside the div, for this I want to catch the click as normal and process it in the repeater_ItemCommand event - But this doesn't fire - the page just redirects to the href found in the hyperlink in the div.
I have a bunch of textboxes on my page, I want the page to have an autoscroll , when the user clicks on tab, to move through the textboxes one after the other.

Above is the html code. The code says it has a picture which has two links. Now can anyone tell me how can i track on the click on image for a perticular url. Using asp.net say url1. I need to store the clicks report into the database using vb.net.
I'm starting to run a few ads on a website, and I'm trying to decide the best way to track performance.
Specifically,What's the most efficient way to count clicks? About the only way I can think of is to link the ad to another page with the ID of the ad as an argument (e.g. adserver.aspx?id=1234). The other page would then update the database and do a redirect to the advertiser's link. However, it seems inefficient to have to load a separate page for this. Are there any other options? Also, it seems like I might need to know stuff like how many clicks occurred in a given week. But storing a separate database row with a date for every single click seems excessive. Has anyone else done something like this? Would it make sense to maybe create a new row for each week and increment a counter for all clicks that occurred that week?
I'm using devexpress aspxbutton, and I was wondering how can I prevent the user from clicking the button more then once..? basically it does an update/insert statement.
How does "it" work where if say the server sends out literally hundreds of emails to an approved list of client email address for a marketing campaign... and within the email template, includes links.
How is it possible to track which user clicked on which link for which email? I know of course there are some solutions out there like MailChimp that do this but curious to know how its done/what methods are used.
I have been playing around with the ajax accordion. I have bound it to some data onload. There is a well known issue with it I am experiencing. Controls inside the accordion are taking two clicks. Eg If I post my reply button it is not invoking the BtnReply_Click event. The bug can be seen here: http://ajaxcontroltoolkit.codeplex.c...rkItemId=11055
As I see it I have three options:
1. Download the patch they talk about. I can't see any info on how to install such a patch. It could be tricky.
2. Manually edit the accordion.vb file. How do you edit control classes?
I have an aspx page that is wrapped with an UpdatePanel control, users can post comments and delete them later, when the user clicks the delete for the first time it deletes successfully but if he wants to delete another comment, it works only after two clicks on the button.the delete button is inside a web user control that is added dynamically at run time.
I am in a process of creating an advanced calendar for our time management system. One of the requirenments is to change the color of the dates when clicked by the user on the calendar. My pattern should go this way. One click on a date - Set the date cell border to "Yellow". Two clicks on a date - Set the date cell border to "Green". Three clicks on a date - Deselects it. I really have no idea how to implement this. Right now i can just get the dates selected in selecteddates collection but it does not dedect the clicks on the date. little background - The calendar is displayed as a popup and users currently can select multiple dates form the calendar. Once done they click on a save button to get the count of total dates selected. All the Yellow dates will be counted as 1/2 day.
I need to remove a querystring when a user clicks a particular LinkButton. So for example if the querystring is [URL] when the user clicks on the Linkbutton, I want the url to be [URL]. The issue is that everything is on one page, and I am using asp:panel to show and hide different areas of the webpage.
i want to delete a record in jqgrid. for this i have the image and when the user clicks on this the record is getting deleted.but i want to show the confirm box and when true then only the record should get deleted. so any one can tell how to call javascript in jqgrid. my jqgrid is
I am faced with a tricky scenario. My application (WEB) is in .NET 3.5 using C# as the development language. My page is having a number of User controls, each with a Save button of its own.
Now my Page containing the User Controls also has a button named SAVE. Now all these User Controls are dynamically populated in the page with respect to some events and all of them are inside individual Update Panels.
Now my requirement is ONCLICK of the SAVE button in the page, the clicks of the SAVE buttons of the user controls will get fired. But since its an asynchronous call (since I am using AJAX through UPDATE PANELS), it will be a heavy overload if all the clicks get fired simultaneously.
So I thought of having sequential clicks done, i.e., after the successful completion of the Click of User Control 1, the click of User Control 2 will get fired and so on.
I presume this can be done with Server Callback, but I am at a loss how to proceed with it.
I want to disable a button when ever user clicks on that. My button present inside the Updatepanel control AJAXI tried with the OnClientClick="javascript:$get(btnUpdate).disabled=true;" button is disabling but that is not calling btnUpdate_Click() server side logic. Please suggest me how to do this.I need to disable button when ever user clicks first time and I need also btnUpdate_Click() logic please adavice me.
Ive had problems with the calender throwing an exception when i clicked the previous month to many time to fast. Sometimes it doesnt happen. Is this a known problem? Is there any known typical solution?
UpdateProgress has a div which shows "Loading...". Works fine on development server.
On client server, when the UpdatePanel fires, it shows "Loading...", but then seems to "freeze". IE status bar shows "(1 item remaining)"
If the user clicks anywhere in the screen, or types a letter, or otherwise gives some input, THEN the "Loading..." clears, and the new text of the screen shows up.
I have a GridView which has Edit/Update functionality. However, when I am clicking it once, it is not firing. I have to click it again to fire. Rest part is working fine.
The calendar extender is designed to automatically hide when the user clicks out side of it. [URL]. However, in the markup below that isn't happening. The click outside is ignored forcing the user to select a date to make it hide. [Code]....
I have a form that is Ajax enabled (we use ajax to display a "processing" message). We're having problems with the customers double clicking the button so I want to disable the button upon the first click. I use the code below which works fine in IE but not in Firefox or Chrome.
In Chrome and Firefox, the button grays out but is still clickable. Do you see any problems with the code above? on a workaround or alternate method of disabling the button? I have thought about using session state to flag when the button is clicked and just ignore subsequent clicks but would rather disable the button entirely.
I have a ModalPopupExtender that needs to be hidden whenever the user clicks anywhere else on the page, window, or scrollbar. I have a function and it works if i set it to a div tag but what about when the user clicks the windows scrollbar?
function HideList() {$find("<%=ModalPopupExtender1.BehaviorID%>").hide();
