May 27, 2010I'm using Update Panel.It contains a modalPopupExtender that use to insert new username.When i click on button, it will check if username exist .If username exist ,I want to ValidatorCallout show.But it doesn't show.here's my code

AJAX :: ValidatorCallout Is Not In Correct Position?
Mar 25, 2010I have a form that contain many field must filled.
I use Asp Required validator and ajax validator callout to make a cool error message.
I put that form into box which have scrollbar. (Not IE Scrollbar)
Running the application then try to scroll the form with that scrollbar.
Then pressing the button to trigger the validator required.
Finally the message is displayed but the message is not in correct position. It is above suppose to be.

Aug 18, 2010Im using a ValidatorCallOutExtender for validate a ASP:textbox, but I have the problem when the scroll is at the top of the page, everything works fine, but if the scroll is at the bottom the validatorcallout is displayed above the textbox which is assigned. I tried adding a CSS mentioned in several places, a script that runs when the page is loaded, so as to put the SetFocusOnError = "true" but nothing has worked, the error occurs in all browsers.

How To Customize The AJAX Editor
Feb 28, 2011I've been searching high and low trying to find out how to customize the AJAX Editor. I can create a custom aspx page and add the methods FillTopToolbar() and FillBottomToolbar(), but these don't seem to do a lot. In fact, if I leave the bottom one blank,I still get all three buttons in the bottom toolbar (even if I just add one or two of the buttons in the method as in some samples I've seen, I still get all three). I'd also like an image button, but everything keeps directing me to some OBout site, which, for all of its documentation, tells me absolutely nothing, except maybe that I have to buy their control. (I noticed their control has twice as many buttons on it.

Apr 21, 2010Adding an Accordion only creates the outer most tags. I then have to add the headercssclass, contentcssclass etc. info. Then i have to manually add <Pane> tags, and then add Accordion Pane controls. Using VWDE 2008, is there a way to customize the control so that adding the Accordion control automatically adds this other info? Ideally with 2 Accordion Panes to start, but even just getting the various Accordion properties and the <Pane> tags added would make it much more <Pane>less!

Nov 2, 2010I've written code that can make a phone dial a number from a function call, that's done and dusted. What I would like to achieve is adding a Dial button to each phone number field on the forms in Dynamics CRM. Eventually this could also create a new phone record fill in the basic details and show it to the user to enter notes and an outcome for the phone call, and perhaps some other workflow bits to schedule the next call.
Can I put a custom control on a standard form in place of the standard control. I'm assuming it would have to be an IFrame to an asp.net page, that pulls in the record id, and the field name, looks up the number to show in a text box, and passes the number to the DialNumber function. I assume its not going to be that easy... Has anyone tried this before, what's the process, what are the gotchas?

For example, to modify logos and CSS, possibly pointing back to their site for the actual content. Ideally I would also like a third-party (ASP.NET) tool to manage this, rather than coding a hack myself.
Edited: I want a solution where a customer can just use a menu to modify the attributes they want, so that there is no need for me to interact with the customer at all.
