Is there any attribute avaliable in Sharepoint:ASPMenu to achieve this. We dont intend to write code behind for this. how to achieve this thru Sharepoint desinger.

I am using SharePoint designer 2010 to design my page.
I am trying to add list and customize it.
Following is customization task.
in my list I have two columns Title and Short Description . when I add list on my test page it show one by one following manner.

How I Customize it ? I tried almost options from ribbon but didn't success.
I am using the ASP.Net menu control to load the menu items defined in a DB table. The menu items are arranged in the order defined and made visible according to the role settings given. This means that a particular person logging into the system can view only those menus that were given access rights to the role that person represents.
The present control just displays in a horizontal or vertical fashion on hover state. However I would like to customize it so that it appears in a fashion similar to those appearing in the Office 2007 package. ie, if we select Home, we can see all the items under home displayed just below it. This is always displayed until you change the menu item, say to Insert.
Is this possible with the ASP.Net menu control? If it is not, is there any other way I can achieve it. In any case, the menu items must be visible strictly based on the role access settings defined in the DB.
I am Unable to customize a menu bar in the master page, so that it is at the middle, and extending to width of the page, like in [URL]. But when i customized a drop down menu bar and trying to align, i am unable to figure out how to do it such that it appears as the above example, find code below. I have deployed a custom SharePoint Web service on Farm A. I am trying to access this Web service from a SharePoint timer job on Farm B. On Farm B, I am creating Class Library project, packaging it (wsp) and then deploying to GAC. The problem is I'm unable to access the Web Service using the following code. Is there a way to add/delete/update the default classes (for instance AspNet-Menu-WithChildren,AspNet-Menu-NonLink ) of the html generated by the asp.net menu or treeview control? I am using CSSAdapters so the menu control renders in a list format instead of table format.

The menu items and the childs are populating correctly but then the menu is not being displayed on the menu control.
For the ASP.NET Menu Server Control whose RenderMode is set to "List", there is an "Orientation" property which decides whether the menu would render as a horizontal or a vertical menu. I have compared the two HTML source code and was unable to find out which part of the HTML/CSS code set the orientation of the menu(unordered list).

We have to develop an application which has a Vertical left pane menu control which displays all the web pages (A,B,C say). Now if user is in page A and filled some data and clicks on menu control to go to page B, all the data in page A needs to be saved. Also if all the required field in page A are not filled and user navigated to page B, there will be one ! sign after the menu so that user can understand that there some some more fields need to be filled up.
We are planning to place the menu control in the Mater page. Please give me some direction to do this. My question is:
1. If user change menu (In Master Page), how should we save data?
2. How should we display the ! in the menu control?

how do i change the layout of this template? I want to change the text and change the position of the textboxes.I know that I can customize it by calling individual fields and write hard-coding, but I am curious if there is a way to use EditorForModel() in easier.
I've written code that can make a phone dial a number from a function call, that's done and dusted. What I would like to achieve is adding a Dial button to each phone number field on the forms in Dynamics CRM. Eventually this could also create a new phone record fill in the basic details and show it to the user to enter notes and an outcome for the phone call, and perhaps some other workflow bits to schedule the next call.
Can I put a custom control on a standard form in place of the standard control. I'm assuming it would have to be an IFrame to an asp.net page, that pulls in the record id, and the field name, looks up the number to show in a text box, and passes the number to the DialNumber function. I assume its not going to be that easy... Has anyone tried this before, what's the process, what are the gotchas?

For example, to modify logos and CSS, possibly pointing back to their site for the actual content. Ideally I would also like a third-party (ASP.NET) tool to manage this, rather than coding a hack myself.
Edited: I want a solution where a customer can just use a menu to modify the attributes they want, so that there is no need for me to interact with the customer at all.
Is it possible to customize a siteMapNode? Like adding space between the menu selections and/or adding icons?
View 1 RepliesI've been searching high and low trying to find out how to customize the AJAX Editor. I can create a custom aspx page and add the methods FillTopToolbar() and FillBottomToolbar(), but these don't seem to do a lot. In fact, if I leave the bottom one blank,I still get all three buttons in the bottom toolbar (even if I just add one or two of the buttons in the method as in some samples I've seen, I still get all three). I'd also like an image button, but everything keeps directing me to some OBout site, which, for all of its documentation, tells me absolutely nothing, except maybe that I have to buy their control. (I noticed their control has twice as many buttons on it.
