I m displaying all errors in a Listbox. and I set the listbox size as the listbox count that means..no of errors. It is very good but the problem. is if the error is one, it is displaying and giving dropdown at the end. I dont want that dropdown.

I've just downloaded the latest Ajax libraries. I have a web site with dozens of ComboBoxes that worked fine until intalling the new libraries. View 1 RepliesI got one web page which is developed by using Asp.net. and in that page I have got one tab control which developed by using Ajax control toolkit (tab container). In that tab container i have got three tab pannels. In the first tab pannel have got two drop down list boxes and one image control box. wat I was trying to do is that by using calendar extender control in ajax control toolkit i was trying to display a day in the first drop down list box and month and year in second drop down list box. when user click on image control during run time a small calender will pops up and then user will select the propective date according to there choice and when they have finish selecting the date from the calender a day will display on first drop down list box and month and year will display on second drop down list box.
I was keep trying to do that but i was failed. then i took one test box from the toolbox and i was got success in displaying the user selected date in the text box by using ajax calender extender. How to display that date instead of one textbox into two separate drop down list boxes from which a user can select manual date from drop down list as well and from the calendar as well also when the page loads, the two drop down list boxes must show current date ( by default)

I've been trying to figure out for a long time now how to create an interface that can allows users to input several rows of data and pass those entries into an SQL server database all in one shot. I could not get any better ideas so I came up with this (see picture below).
What I envisioned is that the user enters values in the textboxes and hits the "add to list" button. The values are then populated in the list box below with the heading "exhibits lists" and when the add exhibit button is pressed, all values from the list box are passed into the database.
Well, I'm left wondering again if it would be possible to tie these values from the textboxes to the list box and whether I'd be able to pass them into the database.
how to go about it otherwise I'd be glad if you could recommend a better way for me to handle the situation otherwise I'd have to resolve to data entry one at a time.

I have a asp.net web form in which I display registered customers in a listbox. In the listbox I can choose one customer, and click a "Show data"-button. That should display all registered data about the chosen customer in textboxes next to the listbox. This doesn't work and I haven't been able to find where the error lies. I need a program that lets me enter the name of an item to swap and adds it to an array list when a button Add is pressed.
Once the item is added to the array list a sub procedure should be called which displays the contents of the array list in a list box.
The system will also allow me to remove items from the array list and then the list box is updated.
Every time I chage the listbox I want to text in the listbox to display on a seprate label on my form. I have used this:

I have a situation where some dropdown listboxes contain some items, then there's a separator line, and then there are more items. The ones above the separator line reflect the "commonly used items". To better highlight these I was using code like this to individually color those specfic items:

This code works fine EXCEPT that once a PostBack occurs then the highlighting disappears. The items in the dropdown listbox remain (without repopulation) but not the highlighting.
I'm curious why this is happening and whether there's a way for the highlighting to "stick" short of calling this code from the Page_Load event handler every Postback?

I have a Gridview that has a button at the left hand side representing the row number. The Gridview has two textboxes and a dropdown listbox as templates. I would like to enable or disable the textboxes and the dropdown listbox if the row is not selected. I also need to enable or disable the templates depending on what the value is of one of the cells. I have a drop down that lists all our 40+ locations.. I then have a list box with all our locations as well. The client is presented with the question which locations have you worked at before. View 3 RepliesI have a masterpage that contains all my dropdown menu controls. The 2 largest browser hits on my site are IE and Firefox (in that order). I just recently updated to the latest version of Firefox and now... my dropdown menus no longer appear with Firefox but still do with IE.
There is nothing strange going on with my masterpage and it used to work fine in both IE and Firefox. Not too sure what is going on and can't seem to find anyone else who has posted on this subject.

I have a datagrid which displays a list of user data, such as name, his or her status, age. I have created a list of rows of user data but where the column shows status for example Single, Married, i want it to create a dropdown list where i can easily change the user status by selecting it from a dropdown and clicking the update button at the top of the datagrid. The update button will update all records that have been changed not just from the dropdown. I assume the dropdownlist requires a columnbinding event but i can't find any straight forward tutorials.
