AJAX :: MultiSliderExtender As WebUserControl Causes Javascript Errors?

I started to use the MultiSliderExtender and wanted to create a WebUserControl with it But every time I add more then one slider I'm getting Javavascript erros

When the page Opens a JS Error occours in some ASP generated JS Code

d contains the ID TextBox2 but somehow the TextBox2 object doesent exists on executing this line resulting in null referenc error. If i put All the Code of my WebUserControl into the ASP Page it works fine
If i remove <MultiHandleSliderTargets> ... </MultiHandleSliderTargets> from the Control no error occours. But i need two Sliders
Adding sliders in Page_Load ended with other Execpetions (AjaxControlToolkit.MultiHandleSliderTarget is not serializable).
So my question is: How to make a this WebUserControl working.
I'm using VS Web Dev Express 08, .Net 3.5, ASP Ajax Kit ver 3.0.30930.0 all on Windows 7

I am trying to create a chat application like Facebook
My chat windows are in the footer control of the website, and C# code also in footer's CS file, i need to call C# function from footer CS file into javascript included in my footer.aspx file,
i have tried it by ICallbackEventHandler, but WebForm_DoCallback(this,arg,RecieveMessage,"",null,false); simply postback my current page, but i need to postback footer.aspx only and call "public void RaiseCallbackEvent(String eventArgument)".

I had this problem: I created a WebUserControl that used som Ajax stuff - hence it needed a ScriptManager.
The problem was that I couldn't add it to the WebUserControls html code (the .ascx file) since the WebUserControl sometimes was placed into a parent page that already had a ScriptManager, and I couldn't add a ScriptManagerProxy since the parent page sometimes didn't had a ScriptManager.
Alot of people just use a ScriptManager on the MasterPage, but this fails if: one doesn't use a MasterPage or one uses iFrames etc. that uses stand alone aspx pages, like Thickbox might do...
Here's the solution:
in the WebUserControls code behind (.cs file), put this:

i was made 'webusercontrol'
and i use this:
event 'msgok' :when btnOk clicked
event ''msgcancel' : when btnCnl clicked
sub 'show' : show this dailog
problem : when i add my 'webusercontrol' to a page,
i can add events(msgok,msgcancel) to page codebehind,
but i cant add this to updatepanel tiggers.
make update panel able to add my 'webusercontrol' events ??

I'm having a problem with a Webusercontrol that has an asyncfileupload control. My websusercontrol is being loaded in a placeholder control that's wrapped by an updatepanel.Due to asyncpostback, I have to load and clear the placeholder's controls.
The webusercontrol works flawlessly, except the asyncfileupload, which doesn't want to upload at all. I can assure that the code is without error, because I used to have the webusercontrol running as an *.aspx site.
I guess that the problem is the fact that the control has to be cleared and reloaded with every asyncpostback ?

I am trying to prevent VS from breaking on JS errors.
I have the following settings:
In IE, under Tools->Internet Settings->Advanced (tab)->Browsing
Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer) is checked.
Disable script debugging (Other) is checked.
In VS, under Debug->Exceptions->Common Language Runtime Exceptions JScript Exceptions (thrown and user-unhandled) are unchecked.
In VS, under Tools->Options->Debugging->Just-In-Time
Script is unchecked.
There are some JavaScript errors that I just don't care about and it is driving me insane having to deal with them.

I have a C# web forms ASP.NET 4.0 web application that uses Routing for URLs for some reason custom errors defined in the system.web section of my web.config is entirely ignored and it will fall back the IIS errors.
This gets entirely ignored

This would be a minor inconvenience except that by the fact it falls back to IIS native instead of my application it completely circumvents Elmah logging my 404 exceptions correctly.

I'm using the toolkit AutoComplete Extender to populate a textbox which is used for searching for a string on our website and it works great most of the time.
About a dozen times a day I'll see a "Request forat is unrecognized for URL unexpectedly ending in '/WebServices/AutoComplete/js'" logged in the server event log.
Like I said it works great most of the time.
Here is the contents of the /WebServices/AutoComplete.asmx file...

I am using Ajax on a Sharepoint 2007 website and I have copied in the AjaxControlToolkit.dll into the bin folder.

I really want to switch over to ajax, but i can't seem to get my error handlling perfect. If i can't handle errors correctly, I just can't use it. What I really want to happen is to do a full refresh of the Top Frame. How I normally do this is by a similar call to Response.Write(<script>top.location.href = ""</script>). I was currently doing this in Global.asax. This becomes a problem when I error out in an AJAX postback. I've also noticed that There is an AsycPostbackErrorHandler you can attach to the ScriptManager. This is all find an dandy, but it will still hit my Global.asax Application_Error Event.
I am honestly just not sure how to handle this.
As I said, the result I want is....To Reload the Top Frame with some Error Message...whether I have to do some weird redirection or whatever. My problem lies specifically with the Global.asax file.

There are some syntax errors that are shown on IE8, on the error window, it shows line : 'some number' , code : 0 , char : 1 when I go to that Line via "View Source" I see nothing wrong there. it might be that error exists on the other place. How can I find the right error place?

have a search functionality in my application. When entering keyword in the search box(textbox), it will decode the keyword in querystring through javascript and give the desired search result.Problem: But when I am entering "%" character in the searchbox it started giving javascript errors. May be because "%" character is the part of encoding-decoding. I tried replacing "%" charcter with space but it will create another problem for encoding decoding.in fixing this issue. Please let me know if any further info is required.

I have an HTML Editor that is in a jQuery Dialog and when the dialog opens, I pass the user's email signature to the HTML Editor. The first time the dialog is opened, the HTML Editor's content is set successfully using the code below. However, if the user closes the dialog and then reopens it, and error is encountered on the set_content function. Even weirder, if I comment out the set_content line and don't pass anything, the second time the dialog is open, the HTML Editor is locked (meaning you can't even type any text into it).

The code is not in the above, but one thing I did too was only set the content the first time it was opened and the second time it was opened i didn't set the content, but the HTML Editor's content displayed as empty even though i did a "alert(editor.get_content());" and it showed the content from the first time.

When I build my program, if there's one error that prevents it from running, instead of just getting the one error I'll get around 50 additional errors in addition to the real one such as:
Error 27 Validation (XHTML 1.0 Transitional): This name contains uppercase characters, which is not allowed.
Is there any way to not show these?

I've read different posts on both of these issues and maybe I'm just not understanding what needs to be done. Here is my dilimma. I am running Windows Vista with IIS 6 and coding in VS 2010 using .NET 4 for the ASP.NET site. I installed the AjaxControlToolkit.NET4 in VS 2010 with no issues. I even used the TabContainer and had no problems on my machine, at least when debugging. When I publish it out and install on my remote Webserver 2008 with IIS6, I get the following errors:
