My application is about writing some comments and uploading a picture and when the picture is the process of being uploaded I would like to show an update progress. This is my code:

- when the button is clicked I see the update progress message for a couple of seconds but the picture and the text are not uploaded- I need to click the button again in order to see my picture and text uploaded but in this instance I don't see the update progress message.
AJAX :: Collapsible Panels - Map Doesn't Show Up Properly Within Container When Content Panel Extended
Jun 11, 2010I have implemented a collapsible panel which works properly. It collapse and it extends the content panel when the link corresponding to the information panel is clicked. Within the content panel I have an HTML table control containing several rows and columns. Within one of these columns I have added a container (a <DIV> tag) holding a Google map. Here is the issue:
The map does not properly show up within the container when the content panel is extended. It appears to be shifted to the left, not centered as it should be. Therefore, any attempt to place a point mark on the map (centering the map over that point mark) is unsuccessful since the map doesn't show properly in the container so the point mark is not visible. Even if I drag the map with the mouse within the container, it always reposition at a bad location. If I comment out the extender, leaving the panel as is, the maps shows properly within its container. It is the collapsible panel extender which makes the layout to be incorrect.

May 19, 2010I have a problem doing a partial page post back with an update panel within a tab container.
I am adding the control programmatically as follows

The controls are added to the tab container but the button now causes a full page postback. The button_click event is no longer called. Is there something I am missing here.

Apr 4, 2010I'm having asp.net ajax tab container in a datalist control with 4 tab panels. I set ActiveTabIndex to 0 on .aspx page, and using OnActiveTabChanged event in code behind, when the tab container tab index is changed, server side event is not working, when i debug the code, i can see the event is getting fired, even though i click the third tab, i'm getting Active TabIndex "0" only.

Apr 26, 2010I'm trying to get a page working using a tab container and multiple tabs. So, I created a new blank page and pointed it to my master page. The master page has two content panels within it.
I'm adding the tab container in the top conent holder, but when I go to view the page, I get an error. Below is the error followed by the code.

Custom Control Not Working Properly
Jun 11, 2010I have developed a ASP.Net Server custom control in C# for 3.5. named "myCheckBoxList" inherited from CheckBoxList web control. Working is very simple. It just works as a two option buttons. I have taken a CheckBoxList which will show two fixed checkboxes always. When I check one checkbox then another will uncheck as vise versa. This control works perfectly only when I have placed only one instance of that control on web page. If I place more than one instance of control then it doesnt works.
I need solution from expert minds from developers as stackoverflow users.
User Control Validation Is Not Working Properly?
Sep 14, 2010In my Website I have header control (header.ascx) and footer control (footer.ascx).In header.ascx one textbox and one button is there. Textbox meant for accepting search string.
In footer.ascx one textbox and one button is there. Textbox meant for accepting Email-Id.
Now in validation of header.ascx I had done blank checking by JavaScript. And in validation of footer.ascx I had done blank-checking and e-mail checking by javascript.
In both the control the textbox and the button both resides under Panel control whose
DefaultButton property set to the respective button ids. So that if User write write something and press ENTER key from keyboard then it should do whatever respective Button_Clicks will do.
Now My problem is suppose I place the mouse cursor in footer.ascx's textbox and press the ENTER key it validates properly but after that if I place the cursor inheader.ascx's textbox and press the ENTER then it is not working. Again If I do the opposite then also first one will fire but in case of second it is not firing .......

Jan 20, 2011the problem is that the calendar does not pop up when using the computer of my customer, but I have no problems with my computer (I tested it with firefox, IE 7 and IE 8).
I also tested the calendar from other 2 pc and worked fine, so what could be the problem?

Jun 4, 2010I have one button on my page. On click of this I need to run four methods parallely in four saperate thead and need to show the progress bar for each method. Also need to update the label controls form those threaded methods.
Also I need to user Update panel of AJAX control tool kit to avoid post back to user.
I have used the read pool for that. When I remove the update panel the code works fine and update four labels but when I put the update panel it is not updating the labels.

Mar 31, 2010I'm facing an issue with chrome. I have multiview in which user control is loaded. This user control has one maskedEditExtender textbox (telephone textbox in ___-___-____ format). Issue is whenever the control is loaded i cannot see the masked feild but as soon i refresh the page I see it. I tried the script above but it didnt worked.

AJAX :: MaskedEditExtender Mask Not Working Properly After Turning Off Readonly
Sep 24, 2010I ran into a strange issue with the AJAX MaskedEditExtender control, the extender is used with the Mask="99/99/9999" and MaskType="Date". Initially when the page loads the textbox was set to readonly using textbox.Attributes.Add("readonly", "readonly") in the codebehind. After the page loads if the user clicks on a certain button it would change the textbox to editable using javascript code: textbox.readOnly = false. The strange thing is after that if you start typing in the textbox you can see the entire mask
(__/__/____) shifting to the right as you type. For example it looks something like this: 09__/__/____ instead of the normal 09/__/____.
If the textbox was never set to readonly in the first place this behavior won't happen. So it seems something got messed up when changing from readonly to not. I was able to reproduce this in a barebone aspx page with just the textbox, the mask extender, and a button that when clicked turning off the textbox's readonly. Anyone knows how I can fix this?

When i click at the Equip Tab is get a blank gridview. There is a scrollbar on the left side indicating there is data in the gridview; however there is nothing visible. Additionally is there a way to scrollable function when I click on the appropriate tab?
