Custom Control Not Working Properly

I have developed a ASP.Net Server custom control in C# for 3.5. named "myCheckBoxList" inherited from CheckBoxList web control. Working is very simple. It just works as a two option buttons. I have taken a CheckBoxList which will show two fixed checkboxes always. When I check one checkbox then another will uncheck as vise versa. This control works perfectly only when I have placed only one instance of that control on web page. If I place more than one instance of control then it doesnt works.
I need solution from expert minds from developers as stackoverflow users.

The First - LblTextBox:
A label and textbox that have a LabelText field that can be set to change the label text
The Second - LoginCtl:
A login control that has two instances of LblTextBox for user name, password and a submit button
I want to control the tag rendering of these controls for formatting so I am not overriding CreateChildControls() to get the job done.
My issue is that the controls are rendered but none of the OnInit() code in either controls takes hold (blank labels, css styles not applied, etc..).

In my Website I have header control (header.ascx) and footer control (footer.ascx).In header.ascx one textbox and one button is there. Textbox meant for accepting search string.
In footer.ascx one textbox and one button is there. Textbox meant for accepting Email-Id.
Now in validation of header.ascx I had done blank checking by JavaScript. And in validation of footer.ascx I had done blank-checking and e-mail checking by javascript.
In both the control the textbox and the button both resides under Panel control whose
DefaultButton property set to the respective button ids. So that if User write write something and press ENTER key from keyboard then it should do whatever respective Button_Clicks will do.
Now My problem is suppose I place the mouse cursor in footer.ascx's textbox and press the ENTER key it validates properly but after that if I place the cursor inheader.ascx's textbox and press the ENTER then it is not working. Again If I do the opposite then also first one will fire but in case of second it is not firing .......

I am experiencing problems with the Ajax Update Progress control.
My application is about writing some comments and uploading a picture and when the picture is the process of being uploaded I would like to show an update progress. This is my code:

- when the button is clicked I see the update progress message for a couple of seconds but the picture and the text are not uploaded- I need to click the button again in order to see my picture and text uploaded but in this instance I don't see the update progress message.

all i am using Datapager control with ListView control in my application.where i bind my list view in page_prerender event. my problem is that Datapager control is showing the page records but when i click on the next page ( i.e. if i am on page 1 then clicked on page 2) it will not responding.
i am using my list view in update panel.is the problem with the update panel?
previously when i binded my Listview on pageload it work's fine.

problem is that i am using mootools.js files when i disable these file my code is working fine but when ever i use mootools.js files with AJAX it gives me error.and some code is not working properly in my application....

When I implement Custom web control inheriting ASP.NET Menu Ajax is not working. I try to Override Render method and generate Li's rather than table.I try to use Control Adapters, but when I am not using adapters for some pages ithe base adapter is generating just hyperlinks with span. I do not want this way. So I can not use these.

I have created a custom control in ASP.net which includes a DropDownList with AutoPostBack set to true. I have also attached an event SelectedIndexChanged for the control.But I find that the event is not fired. Where as normal asp.net DropDownList with AutoPostBack set to true will fire the event. I am using .net 3.5 version in VS2010.

while i was using flash movie on my application nobody was able to watch it . However I know the reason that is flash plugin should be installed on client side. So here i want to deploy a msg or utility to install a flash plugin as:

I have build a composite control containing a Label, TextBox and a ImageButton. The idea:
Label text | textbox | imagebutton used for triggering an event
This textbox has a build-in validation.
When the imagebutton is set, i will use this imagebutton as a trigger. This imagebutton has an onclick event. Nou my problem is the following:
When i have my textbox on a form an click a button to validate my textbox validation takes place correctly.
If my textbox has the imagebutton enabled and i click this imagebutton validation takes place.
In my composite control i have implicity set imagebutton.CausesValidation = false;

I have this custom error redirect in my web.config file but it doesn't seem to be working since i added the redirectMode="ResponseRewrite"
It works fine for 500 errors but not for 404 (it just doesn't redirect when i have a 404)
Here's the code from web.config

I am trying to create an Abstract class that looks like the following (note that I coded it right inline here so it may not compile):

I want to (in my edmx design) be able to inherit from EntityBase and have each of those 6 columns be added to the physical database table representing the object that inherits it. So, for example, I have a class called Test that would look like this:

That Test class should have its physical data store mapping based on the other "stuff" plus the properties inherited from EntityBase. Thus, the database table for Test needs to also include those 6 columns from EntityBase. However, I'd like for it to be set up in a way so that they get mapped such that in the edmx design (what is that designer called anyway) when an entity inherits from the EntityBase, I don't need to do any further work to propogate those 6 columns over to the underlying database table. Am I making sense in how I am explaining this? how to accomplish this?
On a side note (and this can be answered separately or not at all) assuming this mapping is in place, NHibernate has a concept called an Interceptor. I'd like to add an "interceptor" to the delete function of any entity that is inherited from EntityBase so that it updates DeletedAt with the current time and DeletedBy with the current user and the same would be true for any updates with UpdatedAt/By. With NHibernate, you can test inside of this interceptor whether or not the object is of a certain type (e.g. object is EntityBase). Any ideas on how to get this with EF 4.0?

I am creating a custom server control (derived from WebControl).
In RenderContents(HtmlTextWriter), I must use HtmlTextWriter.Indent to manipulate indentations.
Unfortunately, this property always starts with zero so it breaks the indentation from the host/parent control.
My question is, how to know the last indent value of the parent tag that contains my custom server control?

I have a folder "Admin" having access to administrators role. When someone other than administrators tries to access the pages inside admin folder, it is redirected to login page. My expectation is to display "NoAccess.aspx". Whats wrong with this code? Or is there other meaning to statusCode=403.

I have added a new route to Global.asax in order for me to create some nice seo friendly URLs for some news items I am displaying

The problem I have is that when I now hit my home page I am getting [URL] displayed in my URL rather [URL] which is what I used to get. I think the news route is picking up everything. Has anyone any ideas on what constraint I could put on the news route above so that it only ever processes requests from the news route. I was thinking of doing a reg ex on the title and excluding anything with the '-' character in it but I coud not get that to work

I am using accordin menu in my site, placed in Master Page, It has 4 pane, each pane have multiple links. it was working fine previously. But suddenly it is displaying this error message There is no source code available for the current location.
It's is asking for show assembly. When I clicked on that I got a stopage at the stack

I am really not sure what does it means. Also, there are several links in accordin menu, after clicking on anyone of the link I am not able to click the other link, might be because of the above reason.
