I have 40 record in database. But I am displaying 10 record in each page in store grid. But the problem is when I refresh the page or grid, it shows first record in first page. how can I get current page data when refreshing data? How can I avoid this

Then once you click ok it closes the popup page and goes back to the main page. I want to be able to refresh the main page back to how it was when you first land on the page. When I create a new record by submitting an .aspx page the new record is not showing up. I have to navigate away from the page and back to it for the new data to show.

MyMasterPage.aspx and content page MyDefault.aspx.
MyMasterPage.aspx has one input button [value="Menu-1"]. When user click the button, the button will pass value "Menu-1" into
TextBox1Default1 at content page MyDefault.aspx, and then refresh

My problem is the post back is full post back when refreshing UpdatePanelDefault1. I would like asynchronously post back during refreshing UpdatePanelDefault1. copy the full code MyMasterPage.aspx and MyDefault.aspx below, and then paste / overwrite it into your blank aspx page for testing. I have a table on my page. I need to scroll down a little to get to that table. In that table i have som data that i edit and save to database. When the save is done i need to refresh the page( Response.Redirect(Request.RawUrl )) so it loads the new data to that table. When the refresh is done the page is on top again so that i need to scroll down again to see the table. This makes it very unusable for the user.
How can i refresh the page without it going back to top again? I tryed wrapping an updatepanel around the table but it didnt

there is no record related to DropDownList1.SelectedValue. but as i am counting if(dt.rows.count) and i put break point on the bolded part it shows 1 record. how it can be possible?
I'm creating a app that uses a Master Page.
But when i go to Design View of the page (for creating the events automatically or for drag/drop any new control from toolbox, I don't want to type everything) the design view only shows the master page! the page controls are complete ignored!

the page is not showing in the main page just shows pdf reader loading then nothing happens. Even when i try to load another page which of type aspx same case its not being showed in the main page only windows authenticating box appears then page sleeps
however when i create the iframe using the page markup its being correct for both cases.

View 4 RepliesI've built a page which has an update form, and above that, a photo (based on the same edit). The photo is loaded based on the selected table row being edited.
On this page, I've got a button that opens a modal in an iFrame and allows the user to update just their profile image (all works fine). But when the modal is closed, I'd like to reload JUST the photo (and not the entire page), as it will have changed.
How should I go about doing this? I assume I'll need to use some Ajax controls?
I have 2 ddls (cascading that does not use the AJAX cascading ddl) within an updatepanel within an EditTemplate field in a DetailsView. Changing the first ddl causes a full page refresh (this is the problem I am trying to overcome), but changing the second ddl does not. The second ddl is set to autopostback as well because of other logic (if user selects value "Add" a modal pops up to add a new option to the database).
Now the first, does a call out to a class to handle setting the list of values for the second...that is the only difference I can tell between the two, but I wouldn't think that would cause the issue because it is within an updatepanel.

I have a gridView and on the DataBound event I am assigning a Session variable from one of the gridview results. This session is then used to determine if certain nodes in a menu are visible. One problem is that when the session variable is assigned, the menu is not updating, until either I refresh the page manully in the browser or move to another page.

I want to display the page the client, and then trigger an updatepanel refresh that will populate with data that takes 3-4 seconds to load (the rest of the page loads very fast). At the same time I want to display "...Loading..." text using UpdateProgress control.
Everything is working below in the sample code. However, UpdateProgress will not display unless the button is actually clicked by the user. In real production scenario I would hide the button. To invoke the immediate UpdatePanel refresh I trigger the click via Javascript. I have also tried "__DoPostBack" without success.
