DataSource Controls :: Email Query Results Formatting?

I have a SQL server job that executes msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail procedure and sends an email. I have specified the query and the query results appear in the body of the email as expected. All i need to know is how to remove the dashes beneath the column names. For instance, when I receive the email with the query results, they look like the following
UserId UserName
1 Rob
2 Paul
How do I remove those dashes underneath the column names?

(Mods, move if I put this in the wrong place) I'm running queries against SQL databases, and I'd like for the results of my searches to appear in table form in an email that is then sent out dynamically. I currently have the results appearing in a Datagrid on a webpage which I'm then manually transferring to an email form to send. I'd like to streamline the process so I don't need to do any manual entry.
How can I have a table/datagrid/whatever in an email that gets populated with the results of a SQL query?

I have this LINQ query:

How can I get randomly get 10 records from my agents table?
I have tried:
agnts = agnts.OrderBy(n => Guid.NewGuid());
but this doesn't seem to do anything.

i have a "Users today" function that i am trying to work on, i have all the tables set up, and a TimeStamp column, i would like to know how i could get all the users that appeared, but for that day only.
So i used the select statement, but then when i tried to add into query, filtering, i tried using the DateTime.Now, but it only got the users specific to that date, hour, and second.

I am pulling data from an excel file but the column Amount doesn't want to format to currency. i think it's my SQL statement but I am not sure.

I can take out the where the SQL statement begins "ALTER TABLE [Sheet1$] ALTER COLUMN Amount CURRENCY" and it works fine but I need the Amount column to be in currency format.

I have a gridview that I want to bind the results of a query to it once a user selects a value from a drop down list.
The query selects the same row from the same table but selects different fields based on the drop down list value selected
I get to the query selection but it does not refresh that page with the populated gridview.

I have a Contact us form where the user inputs certain data and it sends to a email address ive specified. This is working well however i cannot format the email properly for example i want the email address they enter to come up as the from address in the email sent to my inbox. Im also looking to send the "name field" which i cannot do at the moment, in my code. It will only take 2 arguments and i cannot add any other fields into it.

I need to export SQL query results to an Excel file.
I use the following code to do it.

Works fine for majority of the cases. There is a column called Description in the query results which is of type nText in the sql database. This can have lengthy data ( couple fo paragraphs) . When the number of charcters are large only the first portion of the data is showed and it trims the rare portion. how I can avoid this? Or any efficient code example on how I can do this in a different manner

I have 2 gridviews on a webpage that are fully editable. I also have a button, that when clicked, runs some SQL in codebehind to insert new rows into a data table. The gridview should then update with the latest results of the SQL query, which is does.
Then the user clicks on to the next page to do the next thing.The problem is, when they go back to the first page, they're still seeing the old, non-updated data. I've run the SQL from the page manually on the server, and the new data is there, but the GridView doesn't want to pull it.

I want to display a Gridview of Patients before I submit them to the database. Is there a way(better way), other then List<Patients>, to bind a list to a GridView.
I am using Linq to SQL and I have a DAL with the Patients table inside. I create a new list of Patients

Now the problem is I can't use a Linqdatasource or Objectdatasource to link to the GridView as no data is in the db yet. The only thing that works is GridView.DataSource = _patients; but I lose all automatic formatting and as far as I can tell it is going to be a pain to format manually. It would seem I should be able to somehow link my object _patients to an one of the datasourses so I would have formatting and all.

How do I go about doing this in SQL? I need to return 3 columns: ID, the stuff combined into a single field, and the latest status of each ID. (by latest I mean the most recent entered record's ACT_STATUS. this could be based on the ACT_AUTO I think, which is the auto-increment number)

I am reading a MSWord Document (docx) in my C# code.Then I get the InnerText of the word document into a string which goes into the Body section of an email.The problem is that when I do something like the following:
emailBody = xmlDocument.InnerText.ToString();
Everything comes in one line and all the formatting is lost.

1. I have a GridView on my page and it uses sqldatasource with parameterized query. What I want to do is, on page load (where nothing has been selected so no parameter supplied), I want it to query everything (something like SELECT * FROM [this_table]) but since my SelectCommand is something like
SELECT * FROM [this_table] WHERE [this_column] = @someParameters AND [that_column] = @someParameters.
Can I play around with default value to achieve something like that but how ? Now, when the page loads, it doesn't show anything (No Gridview).
2. On my page, I made something like (username, gender, address, and more) and one single search button. That means, no single control enable auto postback. What I am trying to accomplish is building dynamic query
(if username specifed -> SELECT * FROM [this_table] WHERE [username] LIKE @username).
If both username and gender are specified (SELECT * FROM [this_table] WHERE [username] LIKE @username AND [gender] = @gender) and you know the rest. How can I do this using GridView and SqlDataSource ? To my knowledge, I can only specify one SELECT statement in a sqldatasource.

I am using smtp to sent an email. The problem is that I want to format the body text, like I want some text to display as bold, some as subscript or superscript. I tried to bold the body text using <b>Text</b> like:

But it is not working, can any 1 tell me how to format the body format of email.

By right clicking on my database i created a query in server explorer. But where are this query stored can't find them back. I should aspect that their is a folder query's like there is a folder tables but this isn't the case.

On UI Ajax calendar control is used to allow the user Expiry Date as shown below. As this is one of the controls in search, when the Search button is pressed using SQL statement (copied below) data is retrieved from ExpiryDate column of the table. The table creator declared the column type as string and the dates are saved as single digits(Example: 2/2/10 sometimes and sometime as double digits (Example: 02/02/10) I like to know the best practice in retrieving both type of strings from database table.
