I have two dropdownlists one called ddlclient and ddlproject....now when i select a client...only the projects of that client are populated and when i select that project only the tasks of that project are to be displayed by the report.....but when i click the button after selecting the client an project.....the report displays all records irrespective of what i select....i dont know what is the error.

I have genereted report in asp.net C#, the generated reports contains photo,which is stored in database,
as i click on excel report exporting,photo is not displaying and error is coming like(File error some data is lost).
SSMS 2005 & 2008 comes with inbuilt standard reports.
How can we display these standard reports inside a asp.net web site?
I have several reports that I have published to a SQL 2008 report server with parameters that are dates (DateTime format). For these parameters, a calendar icon is displayed next to the textbox to allow users to select the date via mouse. Some of my reports are used by people overseas (England), where the date format is dd.mm.yy (instead of mm/dd/yyyy).
I went to the report properties, and changed the Language property from "un-US" to "en-GB". The affect of this is that all of the dates that are displayed on my report now show the date format of [dd.mm.yy] (which is good). However, the textbox where they specify the report parameter still shows the old mm/dd/yyyy format.
Can this be changed somehow? I have looked around, but could not find a setting that would apply to this. Or is this a client-side setting (in other words, when viewed overseas, it takes the "native" date format)?
I have a reportviewer control on an ASP.net webpage. i got the ProcessingMode set to Remote and the SizeToContent set to true
my reports work perfectly however the green progress indicator does not appear on the webpage, it never appeared even when i had the size to content set to false
is there a way to get the progress indicator to appear or is there another way for me to show the user that the report is still busy retrieving data?

I am generating reports using localreport. It all works fine on my local machine but throws following error when deployed to dev/test/prod servers:

I have tested this over multiple PCs, most of it displays my report correctly, however, there are a few (minority) particular PCs, instead of showing the report, the Save As dialog is prompted to save "Report.aspx", which is the aspx of which the crystal report is displayed on.
Crystal reports, Microsoft Reporting, and all relevant softwares are installed on all PCs, what could be the issue here? Some IE setting?

I got this an asp.net 3.5 page that and I have few tabs (telerik tabs control with pageview) and I have panel on the top of the page and inside that has a label control displaying error message if it's any.
At the moment, if I want to display this, at the end of the event clicked button for instance, I have to do a custom URL redirection class to itself passing error message and display the error. BUT the problem with this approach let say you are working on 4th tabs and you click save button inside this then you loose the state of series of control (what's is being choosed, selected, typed etc). The page refreshed and displayed at the first tab again.
I want to display the error and at the same time know the state is for every control on the 4th tabs and automatically goes to 4th tabs. BTW ... this validation is done through server level.

We are using secure site https, & when we click on export or print button from crystal report toolbar, it opens a window for pages selection option, In any options from pdf, word or crystal report, i choose and select All & click Ok nothing happens. just ok button gets disable, sometimes shows error

For certain parts of the site the allow inserting and updating of data we have some try / catch logic in place.. Now we would like to display a custom error page explaining what didnt happen. Instead of just a generic message that says error occurred. Here is 1 error that is generated due to Primary Key constraints, we woudl like to redirect them to our error.aspx page which is already setup and configured in the web.config but within that page display a more user friendly detail message of why they got the error. In the example below, we may want to say, "There was an error with the "Access Insert" please make sure that the values you entered on the previous page are unique" thats just an example, but gives an idea of what we are trying to do.

I m displaying all errors in a Listbox. and I set the listbox size as the listbox count that means..no of errors. It is very good but the problem. is if the error is one, it is displaying and giving dropdown at the end. I dont want that dropdown.

edit - I just noticed one of the error reports was from a separate site. The first 4 were a local IP (ugh, probably the site owner) on one site between 11:00-11:04pm while the other was a chinese IP on my site at 11:07.
