Forms Data Controls :: Data List Image Appears As Red X?

I have a datalist that uses an Access Datasource to display employee information. The data appears correct, but the image does not. It appears as a red X. I have pasted the code below and marked in bold, at the bottom, the section pulling the image from the datasource.

I am using the following code to select data which appears between 2 dates:
string query = "SELECT (name, date) FROM date where tableinfo
BETWEEN @date1 AND date2";[code]....
Now the above code is working fine. The only problem is that the date in the date column of the gridview is not in the proper format. What can i do in order to change the format of the date in the gridview. If the format of the date is changed in the databse itself I may be able to use the above SQL query.

I have a problem where I have 4 dropdown lists which are populated from 1 drop down list depending on its value. The problem I have is that when the form is in edit mode the value for dropdown 1 is visible but when I click on dropdown 2 (or others) they appear to be unfiltered. However if I change the value in dropdown list 1 it will then filter dropdown 2 correctly. Am I missing something perhaps in the form load event. My code is currently in dropdown 1's selectedindexchanged and formview_databound if formview is in edit mode. Autopostback is true for all dropdown lists.

I'm trying to create a list of image buttons dynamically, but I'm having trouble displaying the images. I'm using the Directory.GetFullPath method, but I don't think its the right thing to do.I've viewed the page, and the image path is showing as
'd:Hosting6238630htmlPropertiesCedarsext%20front.jpg'. I know this isn'r right and that it needs to be something like www.annereevelettings.co.uk/property/images..., but the question is, how do I do it?The page can be seen at the following address

is a strange problem am experiencing. have a asp.net 2.0 application then creates bitmaps using GDI+ and then copies them onto hard drive as bitmap files and then web page is updated with URL pointing to the bitmap. using a "dummy query string parameter" to trick the browser into knowing its new images to prevent caching problem where old images are displayed.
the web page can have up to 20-25 bitmap images, but sometimes one of them is missing-- doesn't matter if its long page or short page. when right-clicking on the area and then selecting "properties" it suddenly appears.
was thinking of somehow refreshing programmatically? but don't know how to do that.
using Internet Explorer (a requirement).

I have a many to many table in my database called PeopleLanguage
PeopleId, pk and Languags pk each go to the own table People and Language
I know make a method call with my objectdatasource GetPeopleByLanguageId
This returns the languages that the selected person speaks and has a select
query also to lanaguageTable to get LanguageName.
I now print out the results in a datalist that is binding to LanguageName.
What i want to do is show the languages in a horizontal format with a comma after each one.
At the moment if there are 3 languages it shows each one on a seperate line / if I make it horizontal
layout I still dont get a comma. Perhaps I can use a repeater?

I am using Visual Studio 2008 Express and I wish to select a file for downloading. I have seen websites that when you select the file for download, a small browser appears to ask you where you which to store this data to.How do I get that component ?? I know the path on the web design where my data is store, and if its must be a hyperlink, I can make a hyperlink to that path.All I wasnt is when the user select the file he wish to download, a small browser appears to ask where he was that store to.Can someone tell me what I need to do to get that ?

I have a situation where I want to show the selected records out of total records for a product of an employee
1) There is a checkbox list bind to <List> of objects from object datasource (For total items in list)
2) Now I want to check the selected items for a particular record in this list
3) For this purpose I have another list of <List> selected items returned by data access layer (For selected items for that employee )
4) How do I bind the selected objects with the total items list ?
5) In spaghetti coding model it was all too easy just by binding the checkbox list with a sql data source and running a for each on form load

I have a databound dropdownlist and have a problem with the default value it selects.When I attempt to edit a record the dropdownlist shows the first value in the list rather than the current value. I want the dropdown list to display the current value.
I'm sure this is very simple but I'm very new to ASP.NET.
I'm using .NET version 4.

Just wondering if anyone has ever managed to find a way to have a datagridview image button column in a template field which display different images on different rows depending on some data element in the row. Our application needs to display a series of fees charged against an account column which will be either less then 500, 500 to 1000 or >1000. Some of those fees are charged at a full rate, others at a partial rate, and some are not charged at all. The user would like to see a simple 3-state graphic which would convey the simple info: full-charge, partial-charge, or no-charge. Sounds easy enough but I've not yet managed to find a way to do this. Every time I attempt to modify the individual cell's graphic it seems to want to change the graphic for all the rows.

I'm not even sure if this is the correct approach for this -
I have a DB that stores information, as well as a location to where images are stored
ie ProductImage = ~/ProductImages/BulkRetail.JPG
I'm using a repeater to list all the products, which works fine for all the labels I use but not for the image location. I'm using something like this, but it doesn't work:

i have an image and an imagebutton, they are inside a listview and get their imageurl from databinding, i would like to know, if maybe the databinding value is empty, instead of showing a big red x, is there anyway to maybe make it link to a default image when the value is empty instead?

I am new to .NEt, I am doing a classifieds website and tried to save the image in server,in a seperate folder and stored that address in MS access databse.when I wanted to display that image in a gridview,its not showing the image.
In the seperate column when Ia m trying to see the image location using bound field,its displaying C:websitesAzangouser_images j.jpg, but where as its not showing the image in the item template field.
