Now at first I was getting "Validate() is not a function" in firebug. Since I did that alert testing, I am getting the first alert, then nothing with no errors.

i have the following function in default.aspx.....i have webusercontrol which have 10 checkboxes and 1 button .... i want when i click on button1 of user control then it can access the function of default.aspx ...page ...if i dragged the usercontrol to default.aspx
Normally if i use 10 checkboxes and 1 button in default.aspx then it works fine ... if i use 10checkboxes and 1button in usercontrol then drag that usercontrol in default.aspx then it will not work ..

So I could find all input elements that will require validation.And use this in a loop to add validation to the input's found :

View 4 RepliesYou've probably noticed that when you debug an error which comes from an ASPX or ASCX file (literally, not from a corresponding code-behind file), ASP.NET displays an error page showing you the source file and the line on which the error occurs. The source file being displayed is automatically generated from parsing the page/control. The question is: how can I see this source file without purposely causing an exception?
I'd love to hear that there is some programmatic way (the complexity doesn't matter) to generate source files (preferrably, .cs) from a series of ASPX/ASCX files.
Example. Consider the following ASPX page (the code-behind file may even be absent):

Trying to rephrase the previous question: how can I obtain this file from an arbitrary ASPX file (assuming that the file is correct and hence no info will be given on where to search)?
In my master.page I load a Web form:

But when I have a ListView or DataView, etc... with a pager, I get problems when I click on 'next page'.Then I get the error: Validation of viewstate MAC failed. When I don't use Jquery's load function, I don't get an error.

When I access the page us a url (in debug mode) http://localhost/logon.aspx?v=1 the page loads correctly and the jquery button command loads correctly. But then I access the page using the new url route, I get this error.

Now hears the kicker, I am mostly using jqUery as UpdateInsertData() is a jquery Call and works fine. How do I use ValidateNameUpdateable to call jQuery to return the value from the c# method. . I believe this issue is with my jQuery Call as its just posting and I need to do a $.get or something?

I've a page which consolidates different sections by different .aspx pages. Those pages will be loaded into corresponding div(s) dynamically by using jQuery.load(). They all are rendered properly, however, when clicking on any asp:button in any section page, the entire main page will be replaced by the section page even the asp:button is just popping up a message box.

The question is: If the mouse is ALREADY over the element when the document loads itself, the mouseover function doesn't trigger (I need to mouseout and then mouseover again in order to trigger it). Is there any way to check in the $(document).ready function if the mouse is already on top of this element? and if yes- trigger the mouseover function.

View 2 RepliesAt the moment, I have an aspx page with a tabcontainer (ajax toolkit). Inside each tab, I have a little form or other content. At page load, each tab is loaded. Technically I can load the tabs at tabclick (with use of update panels) but this result in unnecessary data traffic.
Is there are a way or example how to use jquery tabs that loads aspx content (html)?
This way we can still use vs.net design tool with aspx pages and load data in a much smarter way.
