SQL Server :: Percentage Of Matching Days Off Among Employee's?
Sep 2, 2010
i have Intime and Outtime of each employee for all the days of 1st,2,3,4 week. There will be a off for 1 day or 2 days for each employees.Based on this i need to calculate consisitency days off assignmanet i.e no of matching days off among employees in percentage. If there are 100 emplyees out of 100 employees 50 people may get week off on the same day(for example sunday).I want result in percentage.result like this
Consistency Days of assignment Across 4 weeks 3 weeks 2weeks
0 2% 0% 0%
1 98% 100% 100%
2 0% 0% 0%
Here 0,1,2 are macthing days off.Across 98% of employees getting 1 days matching in off i.e 98% of employee might off in sunday. For this we need calculate matching days off for all the days from sunday to saturday across 4,3 2 weeks Here 98% of employees getting off in same day.0 indicates 0 days,1 is 1days and 2 is 2 days(for example 50 percentage of people will get off in saturday and sunday)
I want to bind data(For ex: Employee name, Employee ID from Employee) to a dropdownlist and the data should be displayed in dropdownlist as two columns. I don't want to separate this columns by using any special characters like | or '-'. I want to display them as different columns in a dropdownlist.
How can i achieve this using .net and the data i need to retrieve using SQL server 2008.
I am designing a validation form which has a textfiled for inserting Employee ID and a submit button for parsing inserted value. On clicking that button the SubmitButton_Click() validate the inserted value against SQL Server database. The database has a table name EMPLOYEE containing ID and Name of employees. Now I have designed the .aspx page but stuck in the rest of the job.
SELECT SRFILE_1.SRCONMAE, COUNT(LBWF_1.Incidentx) AS SLAFailed, (SELECT COUNT(Incidentx) AS Expr3 FROM LBWF AS LBWF_2) AS TotalCalls FROM SRFILE AS SRFILE_1 INNER JOIN LBWFAS LBWF_1 ON LBWF_1.Incidentx = SRFILE_1.SRONUMBER WHERE (LBWF_1.KPIFailx = '1') OR (LBWF_1.Chargex > '0.00') OR (LBWF_1.LChargex > '0.00') GROUP BY SRFILE_1.SRCONMAE
What I'm trying to do is divide TotalCalls by SlaFailed and * by 100 into a new variable such as Percentage. However, everytime I try to select SLAFailed or TotalCalls I receive a 'Column Names do not exist' message.
when I use 'RowNumber' = ROW_NUMBER() OVER(ORDER BY ColumnName) then due to orderby Column name consume 76% usage in execution plan . in such case what I have to do? I can see sorting taking much time in execution plan.
Inner Join:- Returns a row when there is matching table in both tables. we can use comparison operator like =,<,>,<>
I created two tables
TableA
ID OID Type
1 1 A 2 6 B 3 7 C 4 10 D
TableB
ID Value 1 10 2 30 3 40 5 60 6 70
Basic Inner Join select Type From TableB as a inner join TableA as b on a.ID=b.OID Result Type
A B
If i want only the type which has not match in tableB then i can use not in subquery i get the result if i m using select Type From TableB as a inner join TableA as b on a.ID<>b.OID then i get
I am looking for a better way to update a list of records. I have a string column in my table that contains an array of strings like so:"11112,AAAA1,AAAA2,99998" etc. It is possible that the column could contain one of those values at any position, for instance, these are ALL valid values for the column:
I want to write a SQL statement that will remove "11112" from all of the columns when needed. This MUST also remove any leading, trailing, or double comma values that may be left from simply replacing the "11112" with an empty string. As of now, I simply load a SqlDataReader with any records that contain "11112", I replace it with nothing, "", then I fix the string if need be and update it.
i wrote a stored procedure to display the number of days in the particular month.if the person is taking a leave from 26jan to 03feb,using this stored procedure i will split the days as per the months..now i want to pass the employee id in the stored procedure and retrive the total days of the january month this is my code
this is my stored procedure
ALTER PROCEDURE datecheck @EmpId int,@startdate datetime,@enddate datetime as begin
[Code]....
i am having dropdownlist in my webpage,if i select the employee id and month january it will retrive the january days for the particular employee.....
I would like to make a function to return a information based on the current date and a process. So my parameters was just NOW() and the Process. For example to process AAA and the date '2011-03-27', I would get the stat 'normal' cause day 27 is between 4-28. (Doesn't matter the month)return case when ((@day >= @INI_DAY OR @day <= @END_DAY)) then @STAT else '' end;OR @day between @INI_DAY AND @END_DAY not works
ID Process Stats DayStart DayFinal 15 AAA Critic 1 3
I have records that were inserted into a sql server 2005 table using a stored procedure. I now need to remove or delete these records. The only problem is that the table does not contain a relevant column to define in my where clause when using delete command.
Is there any way I can identify these records for deletion.
I have projects table which have project starting date and end date in datetime() format.every project have some report day which is friday and saturday(which is fixed),the problem is i want to show which project is falling in this week's reports, i think i have to compare project starting date and ending date with this week dates...so i have create function in sql to get week date... but i don't know how can i show...i am totally confused
I want to calculate the number of days an employee has taken leave in the month of january. For that I have two date fields Leave_Start_Date and Leave_End_Date in the database as follows:
Suppose I'm building a StackOverflow clone using webforms ASP.NET and jQuery. The Question page has a question, several answers, and comments under each. Requirements:Users can post new answers and comments, and edit existing ones, without postbacks. No UpdatePanels; the AJAX calls retrieve just the JSON they need, not HTML fragments. The page loads with all existing answers and comments in place (no javascript needs to run to read the page).
What I'm trying to figure out is how to do this without having to maintain two sets of markup (one that's bound on the client using some form of jQuery templating, and one that's bound on the server using traditional WebForms).
