It always displays ONLY 10 items although there are 30 items in the datatable. If i use GridView ALL the 30 items are displayed just fine.

1. Right clicked in empty place of toolbox ==>Add Tab, Named the Tab.
2. Inside the new tab, right clicked ==> choose Items...
3. In the Choose Tool Box Items window, browsed to the dll,
4. After that i can see the Ajaxcontrols in Choose Tool Box Items window and all of them were checked, but when I click ok in that window, its not adding the Items to the list.... Tried this several times....

I am in the process of migrating the ASP.Web Application from .NET framework 1.1 to 3.5.
I installed the VS 2008 (framework 3.5 SP1) and was able to rebuild the ASP.NET web app from 1.1.

I was able to add the AJAX Toolkit tab in my VS 2008 tool box.
I am using the AutoComplete serach extender which works fine when I use the Ajax Tool Kit Script manager.
When I use the Ajax Extension Script Manager in place of Ajak ToolKit Script manager I get an error "

why AutoComplete Search Extender is not working with the Ajax Extension Script Manager.
I created a database with aspnet_regsql, the database was created in sql sever 2008 and not in data folder in my project (do I need to move it to the folder manually?). Next, in Web Site Administration Tool I went to provider section and clicked don Test button.
I got an error:
Could not establish a connection to the database. If you have not yet created the SQL Server database, exit the Web Site Administration tool, use the aspnet_regsql command-line utility to create and configure the database, and then return to this tool to set the provider.
Maybe I need to set something in a web.config, like membership settings or connection strings (or ASP.NET Website Administrator Tool should create those settings for me)?
Update: Maybe it happens because I am using SQL server 2008 full and not express?

After setting membership section and connection string to my aspnetdb database in Web Site Administration Tool I've opened security->Security Setup Wizard->Define Roles (stage 4) I got this error:

I have 3 related select boxes that all work great for single item select. What I need is for my last dropdownlist to allow for the selection of multiple items. I have tried adding the 'multiple' attribute to the final dropdown list and it allows the selection of multiple items but I cannot get the items when I post back, just a single item.

At my old job, i had a report server that was very stable. I was using VS2005, and when i added a crystal report to the website, there was a vb file generated for the report. At my current job, i am using VS2008, and the VB file is no longer generated for the report, and there is no "Run Custom Tool" command when you right click on the report in the solution explorer.I would really just like to test the reports where i can declare the report as a variable and launch the report like i used to, but now i seem to be forced to use the ReportSource control along with the ReportViewer control....and the results are sporadic at best. I get very random "report source invalid", "load report failed", and other undescriptive errors. this is unsatisfactory for these .Is there a configuration thing I am missing, or will I need to go back to VS2005, re-add all the files to a VS2005 project, and start all over, just in order to test and see if maybe it's the reportsource control causing all of my current problems?

got a Asset Management tool which stores (in a folder("node")) an index.htm and a bunch of other asset files such as .js, .css, flv, etcHere's the problem...if I access the index.htm I get ti via it's nodeID http://site/NODEGUID/index.htm , and all compound files try and download via that GUID as well so essientially I just get index.htm content served into each request file, thus giving me an epic fail :)Is there some way in asp.net to intercept that request so I can do a lookup on the DAM and get the proper file reference and send that down instead?

I am running into some additional difficulties with dropdown lists, and I'm hoping you can correct my thinking.
I have a table populated with items; ITEM_ID, ITEM_NAME, ITEM_COST.
Here is my code:

With this code I get this error: DataBinding: 'ITEM' does not contain a property with the name '2'.
If I remove the assignment of DataSource to c1, the dropdown generates this error: 'DropDownList3' has a SelectedValue which is invalid because it does not exist in the list of items.

How should I code this so that the user is presented with a list of ITEM_NAMES, and that the ITEM_ID is stored in the value field so I can use it when the selection event is fired? I know I could databind the source directly to the dropdown list, but I am trying to understand the behind the scenes working of a dropdown list object.
How do you go about removing multiple items from a array list?
I'm using the RemoveAt() method to remove but doing that resets the ArrayList's index which cause me problems if the user selects to remove 1 & 3 out of a 3 list array since once it removes 0 the array list now just has 0 & 1.
I have a dataTable that contains a specific column from a database. A listbox contains 100 list items in it. When page loads, I need those listbox items to be selected, whose value matches the value in the datacolumn of the datatable.
Following is the code i tried, but is not working. For some reason, it selects only the last item in the datacolumn.

I have a listbox control data bound to a data source and I want to be able to get the value of each selected item so that I can use that information to form an insert query for another table. In other words be able to select a few items out of the returned list and get the selected value of each. I tried using a for each statement but came up with some strange numbers.
