Dec 18, 2010Now i'm using visual studio 2008 for my web application project development. I had more than 80 forms and more than 20 modules include with it. Today morning i working with my applicatons normally. Suddenly i cant debug my applications but when i tried to run the webform by View in Browser option, The seperate form shows the page and output. And i cant dubug or Run my Whole project manually. When i tried to debug the applications, suddenly the below error pop-up will displayed without any debuging.

Sep 9, 2011i made an upgrade to an existing application (still developed by me), while testing on my development machine, everything worked fine. After migrating to a Test Server(windows 2003 server), users can not test the application, it periodically crashes their session and redirected them to the login page (Forms Authentication). No error is generated and no entry is logged in the windows event veiwer on the server. I also noticed this also happens when they try to access a particular page in the application.
The page contains 50 instance of a user-control. Each of the user-control contains 8 textboxes, 2 labels,1 hidden field and 12 asp.net validation controls. I tried saving a copy of this page from Internet explorer (IE8) on my development machine,its about 2.2MB in size.What may be wrong and what tracing tools can i use on my development machine (since it generates no errors). How can i also reduce the size of the page (noting that the asp.net validation controls generated alot of HTML codes)

Jan 20, 2011I'm deploying a small ASP.NET (framework 3.5) application in a Windows Server Web 2008 32 bits, IIS 7. The applications needs connection to an Oracle DB in another Server, using the tradicional DataAdapter, Oracle Connection, etc.
Iīve installed correctly the Oracle Client in the server (the server is another serverīs client) and Iīve checked that this server has access to the server where the database is.
Even though my app isnīt able to connect to DataBase. The message says that Oracle components havenīt been found. It doesnīt find the OleDB Provider for Oracle or some dll.
ŋSomething I shluod know about permissions of the ASP.NEt users or something like this?

Preferred Method To Catch Specific OleDB Error?
Jan 4, 2010- I have a situation in which I must execute a dynamically built stored procedure against tables that may, or may not be in the database. The data retrieved is then shunted to a VB.Net backed ASP based report page. By design, if the tables are not present in the database, the relevant data is automatically hidden on the report page. Currently, I'm doing this by checking for the inevitable error, and hiding the div in the catch block. A bit kludgy, but it worked. I can't include the VB code-behind, but the relevant stored procedure is included below.
However, a problem with this method was recently brought to my attention when, for no apparent reason, the div was being hidden even though the proper data was available. As it turned out, the user trying to select the table in the dynamic SQL call didn't have the proper select permissions, an easy enough fix once I could track it down. So, two fold question. First and foremost - is there a better way to check for a missing table than through catching the error in the VB.Net codebehind? All things considered, I'd rather save the error checking for an actual error. Secondly, is there a preferred method to squirrel out a particular OLE DB error out of the general object caught by the try->catch block other than just checking the actual stack trace string?
SQL Query - The main gist of the code is that, due to the design of the database, I have to determine the name of the actual table being targeted manually. The database records jobs in a single table, but each job also gets its own table for processing data on the items processed in that job, and it's data from those tables I have to retrieve. Absolutely nothing I can do about this setup, unfortunately.
